Big C 11-30-2008, 05:09 PM Solomon, save your typing fingers.
I know the Bills lost to the 49ers, but I am not defending them- I can't.
THEY SUCK!!
They lose to that pants-dropping idiot Singletary?!

Yeah scoring only 3 pts against the Niners at home is really sad.
MrCleveland 11-30-2008, 10:28 PM Well...the Cleveland Steamers Football Club really disappointed me this year from a 10-6 record last year to a search for a new coach and GM the next!
Buffalo wasn't nearly as good as people thought. Their first 5 wins were all against teams under .500 . They didn't take advantage of winnable games vs. Miami, Cleveland and San Francisco.

I don't care how good a team is playing in October, if they were not in the playoffs the previous season I'm not sold until they starting winning after halloween

agreed.... I could not believe all the hype that team was getting in sept & october....puhhhhhlease, anyone who has the smallest bit of knowledge of football knew that the bills would not be in it at the end.
Wreckless 12-02-2008, 03:15 PM They're in a tough ass division too, much like the Eagles are in the NFC East and the whole AFC South.

yeah that division has 2 very good teams, & team on the rise & then of course you have the bills
Wreckless 12-03-2008, 02:07 AM then you have the camera man, filming your every move
oh no, that's just the pats
but yeah, bills need to step it up in order to compete in a tough, smash mouth division.
Big C 12-03-2008, 03:24 AM Buffalo may not be as good as they looked, but at least they have the pieces of the puzzle coming together.
The Bills are not a black-hole team like the Lions; we at least can WIN some games!
They have a solid runner, a decent quarterback, and a solid defense.
What they need is a few more offensive playmakers.
iggles, Wreckless, your Eagles found a diamond in the rough in DeSean Jackson. Who do you think the Bills could go after?
Wreckless 12-03-2008, 03:39 AM I don't know much about college receivers right now, going into the '09 NFL Draft but the description of a wideout the Bills need is a fast, athletic one- similar to a Terrell Owens type receiver, where they catch the ball, then with their speed, can get a lot of after yards to help their team.

The one can't-miss prospect who will probably come out is TTU's Michael Crabtree. Big, fast, physical, catches everything, etc. Of course, he'd be gone long before the Bills will pick.

Missouri's Jeremy Maclin, Florida's Percy Harvin, and Maryland's Darrius Heyward-Bey are players that are projected to be taken a little lower where the Bills might be picking...

Harvin: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xMmcFQ2FRuM
Heyword-Bey: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OHKzl1Rsq6U
The one problem is, none of these guys are seniors, and are not guaranteed to enter the draft. I would guess they all might, being that there isn't a whole lot of depth at the WR position otherwise in the '09 draft class, and could see this as their best opportunity to get in the NFL.

For some reason I think they may upset the Pats this sunday, or the game will be very close. Of course, I could be wrong. But they are playing at home and there is pride in buffalo.
They pretty much handed over that game to the Jets, who they should have beaten. I always thought that Brett Farve was overratted, great arm and talent, but throws too many interceptions and his judgment and playcalling is poor at times. For example, in the seattle game on first and 10 play, he should have been running the ball yet he was throwing a risky hail mary into the Seattle secondary with one receiver being defended by double coverage.

In the words of the Four Tops, "it's the same old song".
EricIdlefan 12-26-2008, 04:27 PM Here's hoping that they will win over the Pats!
Because I am sick of seeing the Pats in the playoffs!
Sorry Janice!

I agree.
The Pats Imperfect Season of 2007 and a miss from the Playoffs this year should make Bellicheat really eat his hat!

Bellicheat?? I've never heard that one - but I like it.

I heard he did do some cheating when he was coaching against the Steamers, his old team that he coached.

Yeah, but he wasn't good at it then.
icecream 12-27-2008, 11:43 PM Colts rule, Patsies drool!
If New England misses the playoffs tomorrow I'm putting that in my signature. Go Bills! Go Dolphins! Go Ravens! :D
browneyes106 12-28-2008, 01:12 AM The Bills started off good in the beginning this season but I think they could do well next season.
Old School TV 12-28-2008, 08:20 PM Well I was off about the competiveness of the Bills and Pats game. It was close in the first half, and the weather conditions made even a short field goal hard to make.
But I was right about Farve and his Int's again. He threw three INT's and one were there was not even a receiver in sight  Chad Pennington must feel vindication coming to his old Stadium and clinching the division.
The Playoffs will be hard to predict as there is no clear frontrunner as the titans kind of faltered toward the end. The colts came down the stretch strong, so it could be Colts vs Giants in the superbowl? Imagine Manning vs Manning. But somehow the odds are against it. I will like to see it happen.
