View Full Version : Season 4 Music?
Pavan 11-29-2008, 06:04 PM angelmark or anyone else have a music list for season four so we can check the DVD? We checked tv.com and they have some music listed but I noticed for example the episode "A Shot in the Dark" has much more music than listed.

Is it the DVD version of "A Shot in the Dark" that has more music or a syndicated version of that episode?

anglemark10 11-29-2008, 11:58 PM TV.com has been the source for the lists I've given you in the past. They were compiled by myself and another person who frequently contributed to the guide. I've checked my TV Land version of "A Shot in the Dark," and "The Great Pretender" by The Platters is the only song heard in that episode. If there are any other episodes you'd like me to check, I'd be happy to do that for you.
Pavan 11-30-2008, 01:26 AM On the DVD:
A Shot in the Dark (25:35)
"The Great Pretender" by The Platters (1954) - ??? (heard something very softly in first Arnold's scene, probably this)
ADDED: "Bye Bye Love" Everly Brothers (heard briefly on the jukebox as Fonz banged it)
ADDED: "Put Your Hand on My Shoulder" instrumental (banged by Fonzie on the jukebox)
ADDED: instrumental? (heard during the game when Richie returns)
ADDED: instrumental? (after Richie misses the free throw)
We are going through every episode on this Season 4 DVD, so stay tuned! More details on our review soon...
anglemark10 11-30-2008, 11:57 AM In my TV Land version, Fonzie did not bang the jukebox once. I checked again and did not hear anything when Richie returned to the gym. I think the instrumental heard after everyone but Richie had left when he missed the free throw was just regular mood-setting music for the series.
If this episode is any indication of what the rest will be like, I'm really looking forward to it.
Pavan 11-30-2008, 01:20 PM Looks like TV Land edited out the jukebox banging and the basketball scene when Richie returns to the game completely.
spreckenzeedeu 11-30-2008, 01:44 PM Dunno if this will help or not, but here are the Songs which are heard in the German broadcasted Episode:
"The Great Pretender" by The Platters (at the End of Richie and Fonzie's Talk at Arnolds)
"Bye Bye Love" by The Everly Brothers (Fonzie banging the Jukebox on and off, before he and Al leave for the Game)
"Put Your Hand on My Shoulder" - instrumental (Fonzie banging on the Jukebox and dancing with Sheena)
"Rebel Rouser" - instrumental, by Duane Eddy (when Richie finally arrives at the Game and plays)
Pavan 11-30-2008, 05:04 PM Thanks iris, I'll check the basketball scene if it is indeed Rebel Rouser. Do you have more S4 music we can check?
studd911 11-30-2008, 05:41 PM I think that cbs/paramount has put allot of heard work on season 4. I knw that aseason 3 did well especially with all of the complaints that they got about season 2, but hopfully season 4 will be hott if they address the same isues lie they did in season 3. I hope in fonzie loves pinky they will show te scene with them crusing in the sunset with there bikes, and more bof the band singing all ofthe songs that were cut in syndication, every time i would see anson williams voice underneath the artis at the end of the creidts it shows that he diding allot of the songs, i saw his ame appear on give the band a hand, a date with fonzie, fonzie new friend, and they call it potsie love, i could be wrong but we will ave to wait and see.
spreckenzeedeu 12-01-2008, 12:08 AM I'll check the basketball scene if it is indeed Rebel Rouser.
In my Episode it IS
Do you have more S4 music we can check?
Name an Episode, and I'll check my Tapes...
Pavan 12-05-2008, 11:35 AM Hey iris, on your unedited German broadcast, what music is used in "Graduation, Part 1" (including Al singing)? It seems the DVD might have muted Al singing a few times...
MikeLutton 12-05-2008, 12:11 PM r opening credits stil the same
spreckenzeedeu 12-05-2008, 12:42 PM Hey iris, on your unedited German broadcast, what music is used in "Graduation, Part 1" (including Al singing)?
I'm sorry to disappoint you, but there isn't much...
Al singing "I love a Parade" at the Beginning of the Party.
Then the Band is playing two slow and two fast Songs.
And at the End, Al is singing "Good Night, Sweetheart".
