My favorite character is Dana. Followed by Frank and Karen.

I voted for Cody, because I think he was the extra character that was needed to make "Step By Step" the great show that it was (besides the actual Foster/Lambert families). The show just wasn't the same without him in the later years, that's for sure.

I haven't seen the show in a while, but my favorite was always Dana.

Dana was always my favorite Foster, and favorite character on the show. She was smart, sassy, and beautiful. Sure, she was a bitch, but she was cool. And funny. I think she was also one of Step By Step's more layered characters. She wasn't just "the smart one" or "the funny blonde." There was much more to Dana. I liked how her character developed over the seven years of the show, especially when she started her relationship with Rich.

I voted for Al, but I like Cody, JT, Rich, Frank and Carol too. lol

I voted for Carol. Dana is a very close second.

Well I think Cody was definitely something extra special. He brings a great heart and humor that clearly connected. I still enjoyed seasons 6 and 7 in a different way-Jason Marsden was funny no doubt. But, I was extremely glad also to see Cody come back but let down to see it was the end of the show. I wish there had been some good closure to this fun series-a last season with Cody back might have been just about perfect.

To me, Cody is who made the show worth watching. The show was still good after his time was done, but his absence in my opinion stood out way too much. :( :( :(

I didn't like when Cody left either.It probably would of lasted longer if he didn't.

I never liked Cody after that actor was arrested for beating up his wife.

^^^ I remember seeing him on a special weekend edition of the Entertainment Tonight show and he was shown on there telling about what went unknown all them years ago. He said that everytime that he laid a hand on his wife, he had no other choice because she was abusive towards their kids thanks to her drug addiction and I believe him because I myself have seen up close and personal that the male is not always the monster. :( :( :(

I picked JT. Even though he liked to come across like a pig, beneath it all he was a nice guy.

Because of how I've been looking at actor Bronson Pinchot for the past year or so and still counting, Jean Luc is now my most favorite character from the show, I love Bronson SO much!!! :) :) :)
