There was a case of a woman abducting her son. She was involved in a cult. The father would track her and when he'd find where she had been, she would be gone. I know this is a vague discription but it's all I remember.

I remember a boy named Nicholas who told his father he was hit on his bones. He was reunited with his father soon after the show aired.

Yep... Levia Molinari and Arthur Karopoulos were the parents. Their child's name is Nicholas Arthur. The Dad was reunited with his son.
