Just a reminder that all day today (Thanksgiving) on WGN they are airing a marathon of Bob's show Newhart (1982-1990). They are including a couple of shows from each season, including "The Last Newhart" where Dick realizes the entire series has been a dream and wakes up in bed next to Emily-lol. Enjoy!

Agreed!! Bob Newhart & co. are so underrated it's not funny.

You should check out WGN America's schedule. They have "Newhart" (80s show) on every Sunday as part of their "retro" lineup - along with WKRP in Cincinnati, Bewitched, I Dream of Jeannie, Alf and a couple of others.

The problem with American Life is that very few cable companies, and neither of the two main satellite TV companies (DirecTV and Dish) carry it! I've been working on DirecTV for a couple of years. So far, they aren't budging in adding it to their lineup. Cox Communications don't carry it either, at least not in the San Diego area.

The other problem with AmericanLife is that they will air an episode from season 3 one week, season 1 the next, back to season 3, and so on ..... They do that with the 1980s Newhart and MTM. I don't watch The Bob Newhart Show on American Life just because I have the DVDs, but if they would ever get to seasons 5 and 6 then I would watch them.
