I think its terrible that KMart is open on Thanksgiving! So unfair to the poor employees who never get any of the other holidays off that most enjoy! i know there are pharmacies and gas stations open but i can see some practical reasonss for that. kmart is the only big box dept. store i know of open on thanksgiving!

My g/f works for Kmart and she has to always work that day. She has never known what it is to be off on Thanksgiving. It's all in the name of the almighty dollar.

Wal-mart in my town, is also open. So is the Winn-Dixie
I'm glad I work for a mom and pop store that still believes in closing for Thanksgiving--yesterday was busy enough!!

K-Mart was open here last year on CHRISTMAS day. (Probably will be this year too)

Chick-Fil-A still closes on Sunday, but manages to do great buisness.

I worked on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day at Discount Drug Mart! (Well, I decided to work on one Christmas since we didn't go to my Grandma's that year.)

no it was reg. store hours 7am-10pm

Meijer stores are open on Thanksgiving too. They really should reconsider and close. The only day they close is Christmas Day, and since their stores are 24 hours, that's the only occasion of the year on which they lock all of their doors!
