Have just acquired Jackie Gleason and His American Scene Magazine, about 11-13 discs (can't remember). Not sure if they are complete, but a good set none the less. Up for trade.

If so, are they in color? quinncy 11-25-2008, 06:10 PM I have a good run on these also & none of them have any of the Honeymooners skits. The ones that I know of that are going around are the 30 min syndication shows. T-Greg 12-01-2008, 02:09 PM Do any of them have Honeymooners sketches on them? If so, are they in color? That Gleason series is in black & white and ran from 1962-66. There were only about 3 Honeymooners skits that ran, and only 2, are available as far as I know: The Fallout Shelter and The Adoption. There was a Good Times home video release some years ago that has the former. The latter ran on TVLand some years ago. The 3rd episode was called "Game of the Week" if I remember correctly. Art Carney was not a regular, thus they only did skits when he appeared. Hazel Anyday 12-08-2008, 06:02 PM I can definitely say there is at least one Honeymooners episode in the Amer. Scene Magazine collection that I have. It stars Gleason & Carney, but Sue Ann Langdon plays Alice and another broad plays Trixie. It's a short episode in a show that Carney guest stars on with Gleason.:) |
