The first thing that I would like to do is apologize in advance to anyone who would like to smack me in the face for bringing up Hazel Shermet one more time! However, one trend tends to be that, whenever I post a thread about how unpopular a topic she or her late husband tend to be on boards like this, that is the post that gets the responses! How ironic! A while back, I posted one on the "Facts of Life" page. This one is called "Unpopular". So far, it has thirteen responses! The last one was my own and it was made less than half an hour ago. The purpose of this response was to tell my buddies there about a response that I had recently got on the "Brady Bunch" page. You see, one way that this show is different than the "Brady Bunch" is that on that show Larry Rhine (Hazel's late husband) can only wear one hat while here he can wear two. The only thing about him that relates to "The Brady Bunch" is that he was involved in writing and producing several episodes. On "Gimme a Break!" however, there is the fact that he was a writer for three episodes and his surviving wife appeared on a different three. In any event, over on the "Brady Bunch" page, I started one thread called "Credit for Larry" and another called "More About Larry". Both of those threads got a bunch of views but zero responses! Well, a short while back, I started a thread called "A Dead Horse". This because of the dead horse that most of you would accuse me of beating by bringing up the same topics time and again! In any event, I got a response in less than a day! This poster gave me a very interesting lead on the the things that Larry was involved in throughout his life. I had already read somewhere that he was involved in writing for the "Flintstone" spin-off called "The Pebbles and Bam-Bam Show". However, today, I read that he was also involved in the writing of an animated sereis called "Speed Buggy"! I would be very interested in knowing whether anyone reading this has any memories of that Saturday Morning cartoon!
