Can't you just appreciate someone's friendship? I mean seriously, what's with you and the thread bashing lately?

Brian, you are a good person. I admire your devotion to your family and to your friends. I pray for your daughter, Ashlyn, everyday. And, I wish happiness and good health to your other daughter and your future son. May the Lord be for you and your loved ones, always and forever.:)

Yes, Lauren is a good person. She is a good friend. I admire her for making these threads. There is nothing wrong in what she is doing. It only proves on what a mature and thoughtful individual she is.

Yes. That's what I said, you're a good person. I'm not bashing. A thread for somebody is fine, but you don't need the internet to prove your friendship to somebody, I'm sure Brian knows of it otherwise. I'll refrain from commenting further more, so no trouble starts.

P.S. Thread Bashing Lately, I only remember getting yelled at in the other thread, in which everybody was going off topic, not just me.

Yeah so do I. I'm not trying to start a fight, but honestly I don't see how you can't prove your friendship to somebody, without having to use the internet. Not that it's a bad tool or thing to do, perhaps drop them a nice email or phone call. She's a very nice person and I don't have any trouble with her on here, that's why I only said that.

I know that you are not trying to start a fight, and you are entitled to your opinion; but, I do not think there is anything wrong, about creating a thread, devoted to a friend of yours. It is a nice gesture.:)

Wreckless, you have much too much to say about everything and the way this site is run. Appreciation threads have been made on this site for years. I am warning you now to get the hell out of this thread. One more post, one word, and you're suspended.

I appreciate Brian for his friendship through the years. Despite having his own problems, he's always there to listen to me. His pregnant wife is having complications and has been in the hospital twice this week. He still found the time to e-mail me to ask me how my husband is doing.

He's as loyal as they come. Have Brian for a friend and he's yours forever. Of course, he's the last person someone would want for an enemy, lol. I adore him, and I appreciate him.

Same here, Jenny. I hope Brian doesn't get mad at me for saying this, but his wife had to stay overnight in the hospital twice this week. The original due date was January 28th. They moved it to January 2nd. He said in an earlier e-mail that the baby will probably arrive before Christmas. I hope so, just to get the little guy out and safe, and into the world! :)

You're welcome Tara. You guys are so sweet. She was actually having contractions. I guess she's 34 weeks along, so how far along is that? I need a calculator, lol.

She is 7 and a half months. I mean, if she were to have the baby; yes, he would be premature, but, the baby has an excellent chance of surviving. My sister had my nephew around that time, and today he is an intelligent, robust, 12 year old boy, whom excels at sports, etc. Definitely a blessing and one of the best kids around...

I think that is cute, too; most women found out the gender of their babies around 22 weeks; some, even sooner than that, according to their ages. My mom always had a hunch on what she was going to have. She knew she was going to have a girl while she was carrying me, and this was before sonograms, etc.

Brian helped me out on this site big time- he got me introduced to the Chit Chat Thread.

He and I have a friendly little rivalry with football teams- I have an avatar bet with him for this Sunday's Giants/Cardinals game- that's in good taste.

And I can't help but like a guy who had this to say about me:

As for fantasizing about Patricia Heaton, it's no diferent than you fantasizing about Angela Watson or Ramona.

Not afraid to take a shot at me.

And, of course, his taste in women that are oldies-but-goodies also caught my interest.

Brian is a great guy and a loyal friend. I always enjoy reading his posts on SO. I remember back when I was still lurking reading him and Solomon's posts about Good Times. It provided me with hours of entertainment. This place sure wouldn't be the same without him. :)

I'm sorry to hear about your wife but I'm sure everything will be okay. I've been praying for Ashlyn too. I pray that the Lord blesses you with so much happiness this coming season because you deserve it buddy :)

I've always wanted to call Brian "Papa Bear" and that's why I referred to him as a bear in that other thread. He's a big, burly macho looking guy but underneath has a huge heart and would protect his loved ones to the death.

We've had an issue in the past too, but it's been put long in the past and forgotten. We don't always see eye to eye on politics or religious issues (but neither do Brad and I) but that isn't something that's important to me anway. If anything, I appreciate people I have differences with - it makes the relationship so much more interesting. hehe
I've been very touched anytime he's reached out to me this past year and was thrilled when he asked me to be a friend on his Facebook page.

He's just a hard working, regular guy who loves his wife and children (and Patricia Heaton).

I pray for nothing but the best for him and his family, and this unborn son.

And the best appreciation is when it comes out of the blue. Who said someone needs to do something in particular to be recognized for being a good person. ;)

I agree, hollywood rock chic. Lauren sounds like a really awesome person, and someone nice to know. Besides, there's ABSOLUTELY NOTHING wrong with appreciating another's friendship in a public forum like this...maybe this will inspire others to do the same!

Brian is much appreciated here at Sitcoms Online! His dedication and time is much appreciated. Despite our past differences, we have learned to move on and it is such a wonderful thing. It made me very happy as I don't believe in seeing bad things in a person. You should always look at the good...that is what I practice in real life. Here's hoping Patty Heaton's new sitcom makes it on air at ABC. Keep up the good work! And glad we're friends!
