I don't have TV One. I was watching some of the ION episodes.

Their personalities were different. She was so high maintence, and he was so fun and games. They didn't have nothing in common.

Their feelings sort of came out of thin air for that episode they hooked up. Throughout the entire series, Vanessa and Mark showed no signs whatsoever that they were interested & all of a sudden, Mark gets jealous because Vanessa goes on a date and her.

To me, Mark and Vanessa seemed more like brother/sister. They were always bickering and nagging each other, etc. I agree that it putting them together was WAY too rushed. It was toward the end of the series, so I guess the producers were trying to prove something. :lol:

I remember Robyn saying, that she could tell, that Mark liked Vanessa. I think it might have been in the pilot! And there was also an episode, where they kissed each other to see if they felt something. They said they didn't feel anything, but I think they were lying, as they both were devoted to other people at the time.

I can maybe agree, that they could have shown more signs of them liking each other over the years. But believe me, I'm very sensitive about couples (yep, even in fiction) being compatible. And yet, I always liked Mark and Vanessa together.

yeah, there was an episode where they did kiss each other. i too also liked mark and vanessa together, it's just that the timing of those two getting together was really late in the show.
