Happy weekend before Thanksgiving!

Tomorrow I have a doctors appointment, which is good because I have alot I need to discuss with him. On Saturday I'm probably going to go bowling and then out to eat with a friend, and currently my schedule for Sunday is all clear.

A basically lazy weekend but I will begin my Xmas Shopping @ Trader Joes's -I'm going to try to get there are 9 am because it gets VERY CROWDED VERY FAST lol. You get amazing value for your $ there.

I have work to do tonight for school- tomorrow, more work and just chillin. It's supposed to rain all weekend. It's been so boring here, no parties, everybodys inside their house either on the computer or by the heater(s) :lol:. Where did all my friends go? Anyways, it's getting colder & colder...

Lots going on this weekend. Tomorrow a friend from college who didn't go this semester for one reason or another is coming back to visit and register for next semester. Also, my neighbors from home are stopping by to say hi too, because their cousin goes to the same college as me and they're up to visit her. Then Saturday, my friends from home are coming up to visit and one of them is staying the night, so we'll go out to eat and go to the mall and stuff. On Sunday, my sister's coming up because Jack's Mannequin is playing at my school and I'm going to go see them with her and a bunch of friends. I don't listen to them, but I figure why the hell not? lol. So it'll be fun.

Yup, they're performing at our school. Thanks! :) I don't really listen to them but the tickets were cheap for students so I couldn't pass that up, plus it's a pretty big deal to have a national act here because our school is so small.

What is everyones plans for Thanksgiving?
I'm working for 5 hours. :( But at least it's holiday pay, which always comes in handy. Right after work, I'm driving straight to dinner at my sister's. She only lives 10 minutes from my job.

As for this weekend, my uncle is coming over to help me get my wireless internet set up. Then I have church tomorrow. Sunday I plan to do my errands.

Today is the 45th anniversary of the death of President John F. Kennedy

that's right; it is! So that's why they were showing all that stuff about him on TV.

I'm going to take my car to the shop again, they did something wrong and my left headlight is out. Took my car yesterday for both headlights to be replaced and for an oil change. I hate going back. Not really planning much for the weekend.

Well, for the first time in - I really don't know how long - I finished a whole week of work!
The job is going well. Things were slow the first week of construction, just a handful of electricians running wires and stuff, but soon we'll have a bunch of different crews crowded into the space doing all kinds of things.
I'm learning what it is to be a project superintendent - basically I make sure things are clean and orderly on the sight, and keeping track of who is there, deliveries to the site, and any problems that have to be relayed to the Project Manager.
It's a pretty fun job so far. I have to get up at 5:30 in the morning, but I get to work in 20 minutes via the C train, and the job is indoors, so I cant complain.
Not much going on this weekend, I got up early this morning to do a pile of laundry, and since my roommate is away for the weekend I'm watching a bunch of shows on the DVR and just hanging out.
Plus it's 25 degrees outside this morning, so I'm staying in.
