The sitcom we are trying to remember started out with a mother placing a child in front of the tv. We think...maybe the kid had a davy crockett hat on. The show centered around the kid watching tv and then remembering back or placing himself into the show in his imagination. We think this was an 80s sitcom, but not sure.
