"Byron" Sully-Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman
Sully never went by his first name of Byron, he hated it. I liked Sully better anyway.

Fes from that 70's Show. My friend who watched the show told me that everyone calls him Fes, which is short for Foreign Exchange Student. Nobody knew how to say his real name.
I don't know how true this is, I am just going by what she told me.

That's all I can think of right now. I am sure more will come to me later. When I think of them I will add them.

yes, like once, on "MASH" Frank asked Igor what his last name is, and he replied "Maxwell"-of course; the actors name was Jeff Maxwell.

Detectives Harris, Youmona, Wojohoitz, & Fish on "BARNEY MILLER", Mr. Haney on "GREEN ACRES" (I think they said his first name once, and it was Eunice).
Sulu, Checkov, and Lt. Uhera on "STAR TREK"-in fact, it wasn't until the movie "Star Trek 4" that Checkovs first name was ever said, and Sulu and Uheras first names were never said in the series or any of the movies; just in the books.

Hogan's Heroes (http://www.sitcomsonline.com/boards/forumdisplay.php?f=71) - The military cast would usually call each other by either their rank and/or last name. I don't think anyone has ever called Kinch by his first name James or Hogan by only his first name Robert, not even the women he managed to make out with.

On The Wonder Years Winnie's real name was Gwendolyn, as in Gwendolyn Cooper. I think it was referred to just once.

It's most likely been mentioned already, but no one calls Dan Fielding "Reinhold", seeing as his birth name is Reinhold Daniel Fielding Elmore (and later stupidly changed to Daniel R. Fielding, I hate how later on in the series they made it his middle name).

This means nothing, but in one of the first or second season episodes Dan's name was Daniel A. Fielding, the A probably for Alan.

Mary Elizabeth Jennifer Rachel Yiddell Abergavenny Slocombe always know as either Mr. Slocombe or (on occassion) Betty

Captain Stephan Peacock - usually capt peacock

Wilberforce Claiborne Humphries - usually Mr. Humphries

Mr. Lucas's first name was in dispute - sometimes refered to as Dick

Oh, I just thought of another one: Emma "Grace" McKee on State of Grace, who gave the show that name! (It certainly slides off the tongue better than "State of Emma", right?)

On Fresh Prince, I don't think Philip Banks' name was really Philip. I believe it was Zeke. His mother called him Zeke every time she visited.

On Roseanne, DJ's real name was David Jacob Conner.

On Full House, DJ's real name was Donna Jo Tanner.

On The Cosby Show, Theo had a friend named Walter but everyone called him Cockroach.
Theo's full name was Theodore but nobody ever called him by his full name. Same with Rudy, her full name was Rudith but they never called her that.

Was Jazz's real name Jazz on Fresh Prince? I doubt it. :rotflmao:

On Growing Pains Ben had a friend named Stinky Sullivan. I highly doubt his real name was Stinky.
Ben's full name was Benjamin but nobody ever called him that.
Same with Maggie, her full name was Margaret, Mike's full name was Michael, and Chrissy's was Christine.

On Dr. Quinn, Sully and Michaela's daughter's full name was Katherine but they all called her Katie. (It is also the name of Jane Seymour's real life daughter.)

His first name was Ed; you didn't hear it all that often. Heck, even his wife called him Norton a couple times.

Jonathan Quayle "Higgins" Higgins - Magnum, P.I.

Mick "Dogbreath" Belker - Hill Street Blues, though they rarely ever use his 1st name Mick, they just either call him "Dogbreath" or just plain Det. Belker.

Theodore "T.C." Calvin - Magnum, P.I. I dunno if they ever used his real name before or not.
