She is actually thinking of paying $60 for a 30 day membership because she feels it's a good chance she will meet her future husband-lol

Time Magazine has already labeled eharmony as a fraudulent dating site but she won't listen.

LOL

better yet, tell her you'll find her a man for just $39

then fix her up with the first schmuck you can find and run with the money.

Solomon, I normally disagree with your thoughts, but I agree here.

Just buy some nice flowers/chocolates!

Make sure she's not allergic to flowers or on a diet before doing so.

60 Bucks for 30 days is way too expensive; if your friend is in dire need to find a husband, tell her to try some of the "free" dating sites, like Plentyoffish.com, etc.

I mean, you find the same people on the free sites and you do not have to pay "good money" to see what they look like?
What does she exept, to find a better quality of men on eHarmony? If that is the case, she is going to be very disappointed.

Did Time really expose eHarmony as a fraud? When did this happen?
Those commercials are cute, but yeah...I don't think I'd try it.

There are times like this where I'm glad I'm not the desperate type that wants to get hitched and have a baby. Yeah, I want a guy, but not for that.

No, to be 28 she is very immature. And I'm not into the immature type.

I know what you mean. I can't stand immaturity either. It's a real turn-off. I have this guy friend who's 30 and acts like he's 12 sometimes. He wonders why he can't get a date.

I know men, that are in their 50s, that have the maturity level of a 12 year old. Yes, I agree, it is a major turn off!

what's their new commercial about...if you don't find a math within a couple of months, you get 6 months for free? lol.

either way, having to pay that much is overkill. maybe she should sign up with free online dating websites, like yahoo singles. or she can do speed dating or something. i'm sure there's somewhere in the community she can get info from about that.

i can't imagine meeting someone online though. i'm picky as it is in real life, but who knows what people make up online. but a lot of relationships have lasted after meeting online, so who knows.

Yes, you have to be cautious about meeting people on-line, then again, you have to be cautious when you are meeting people at a public place ,like a bar or a club, too. I tried on-line dating once, and found it to be an interesting experience. Actually, I have met a lot of really nice and successful guys. Unfortunately, a majority of them were looking to be in a serious, long-term relationships, and for the time being, I am not seeking that. I am just interested in meeting new friends or guys to hang out with.
