Well.... check this out..... Drake Hogestyn(John), Deidre Hall(Marlena), Jay Kenneth Johnson(Phillip) and Blake Berris(Nick) are "all" being let go. Supposedly Drake and Deidre are exiting in January of '09. Thought I would share this shocking and depressing news with anyone that likes/loves Days of Our Lives.

A total outrage!!! Plus, DOOL hardly ever has Stefano or Tony on!!! Stinko!!!:o

I'm shocked and mad as he!! that they are getting rid of Deidre Hall, she's been with Days for over 30 years. When Drake and Deidre exit, Days is pretty much history, there aint no way the younger boring crowd can keep Days afloat. Supposedly there will be more actors/actresses let go. Words can not even describe how pissed I am at Ken Corday, this idiot needs to step down and let someone else take charge, he's running his parents soap opera into the ground, I'm sure they are rolling over in their graves. When D & D leave, my days of watching DOOL is over. So if I'm not around this board, say around January, it's been nice knowing and chatting with all of you. :wave:

i'm also hearing intense rumors that Bryan Ditaillo (Lucas) is very likely to be next on the chopping block.

I totally agree with you... you just know that Susan Lucci, Eric Breaden, Peter Bergmen, Erika Slezak, Melody Thomas Scott and the likes are all resting very uneasy today with this news... If Dee and Drake can get fired than so can any of them.

I will miss Marlena and John for sure. I wish they would have cut some minor characters instead.
