the championship that year or championships in general. For example, Tony Romo has had an injury problem this year- which might affect Dallas not going as far as they want to in the division & playoff race. What are some injuries overall in sports, any team or sport, that have affected that team not winning the championship that year? Maybe the injury came at a bad time- when the playoffs start or when they were about to make a run. Or maybe the franchise that year had a great team, and the injury affected them and was a blockade in them not winning it. Although I hate to admit it, I think T.O. getting injured the 1st year of the Eagles affected us not winning the championship. We went far without him, until the Superbowl, and he was far from a step behind. Healthy, although we only lost by a FG, we COULD of won it but I'm not going in that direction. Just saying. Anyways, what are some players on certain teams you can think of?

Eric Lindros- his injuries prevented the Flyers from true greatness.

Mario Lemieux- One of the greatest players in hockey history, but plagued by injuries. When healthy, it was ridiculous how good he was.

I totally agree and forgot about Lindros- in 2000 and earlier on, if we had him 100% healthy and in all of the games, we would of had a definitive better chance of winning it all.

Big Ben - not 100%
Tony Romo

All teams have devistating injuries. The teams like the Pats, that continue to win games are the good teams in the NFL.
