I am aware that in terms of box office success that Jersey Girl was a bomb.

Is the movie really as bad as everyone makes it out to be or did people automatically dismiss it because it is not a "Jay and Silent Bob" or "dick and fart joke" movie?

Not one of Smith's most popular films, but it's a very sweet film, but not one of his best.

If anything I think it shows that Smith can make a fairly decent movie that doesn't rely on the outrageous material he normally puts in a film.

It was an ok movie and the actress that played like little Gertie is adorable.
