I know their are a lot of members on SO, and a lot that post 20/30 times a day, which is fine because a lot of people's job & schools leave for a lot of downtime to do work or whatever, so they post on here, but what was the longest amount of time you were off the site? Maybe you were on vacation, computer was broken etc. Just curious. Not everybody knows the exact amount, that's why I'm talking approximates here. For me it was like 6/7 days- I go down my Mom's for a week/half a week now that I'm down my Dads, to visit. That and when my computer & internet wasn't working and broken last winter, was about it. What about you and why?

For me it was 13 months. I actually just came back about two months ago. I was gone because I had alot of personal issues in my life that I was tending to, and I just felt like getting my life in order needed to take priority in my life during that time. I did check in here and there to see how people were doing by reading posts and stuff, but those times were pretty few and far between. I'm just glad to be back!! There's no place like home!! :lol:

No problem man. Yeah definitely. It happens to the best of us, but unfortunately some of us are hit harder, but a bigger bounce and recovery makes a man, or woman stronger, like you said.

Probably 5 or 6 days when we went on vacation.

Just a few times when on vacation where I didnt have a computer :lol:

Mid-to-late August when I was on vacation in Canada.

Like, 3 months or something right after I joined.

a few weeks....My Mom was having medical issues and I just didnt have time to visit...but made up for it when I came back.:)

Probably a week. I know I was gone about a week when my Dad was in the hospital. I've been gone 5 or 6 days before when my Computer was in the shop too.

Probably a month. I walked away for personal reasons.

I seriously have no idea but it couldn't have been too long. :lol:

I've gone months without posting, but I always visit the site regardless.

five or six days. i try not to let this place or any site for all that matters, my life.

I was around here from around 2001-2004 during my Wings/Ned & Stacey period, went into hiding and then came back in late 2005 when I got into Night Court, so I imagine for about a year I didn't post.

Try to figure out who I used to be. Go on, guess!

months at a time when I first signed up. Was kind of like Rip Van Winkle. But then I "woke up" when the sev. Ozzie & Harriet sets started coming out and when Janice turned me on to the to the other sites. I've been an avid SO junkie ever since - maybe missing 1 or 2 days since then here & there

About a year and a half... just started posting again about a week ago.

Due to something that happened in relation to this board, I didn't post from November to May. I wasn't going to come back at all, but I missed not having a place to talk about my favorite shows. And I'm VERY glad I came back, BTW!!!

A few months last year because I was pissed.

I've been away for a few weeks before when I was visiting my grandma and while i was moving. Somedays I don't post at all, but I always at least read posts.

I usually never been off this site for more than three months since I signed
up on May 22, 2001.

The longest I have been away from here is about a week.

It would be hard to say...there have been long periods when I have gone by without visiting/posting - things come up in life and I get out of the routine. I'm hoping that I'll post less sporadically in the future.

Recently, I think it was around 5 months, when I stopped posting back in December. Before that, I was usually around but there were periods were I was too busy to check in, so it was probably a couple of months as well.

I was just off SO for 4 days. :D
