Reference to Fred Sanford was made on a local news show during a piece about symptoms of heart attack.
Nothin' major, the anchor just said "Rembember Fred Sanford? All heart attack symtoms aren't as suttle..." and then went on with the story. What was funny was that they played the S&S Theme Song when they went to commercial! What was even funnier (for me) was that I started to answer my phone as my ring tone is "The Streetbeater"!

That's great info. Not only is S&S one of my favorite shows, the theme song is the greatest, never get tired of hearing it (same with Night Court, Barney Miller, Hill Street Blues). There will never be another Redd Foxx.

It's also very useful info in light of what happened to Redd Foxx in real life. It was smart of that news station to tie Mr. Foxx/S&S in with the story.
