Similar to the thread I posted yesterday- when you are stressed, or feeling blue/ill or sad, what music or kind of music do you love to listen to? Maybe it gets you going, calms you down, cheers you up or relaxes you. Whatever it may be, post a genre or list of artists that follow under music you listen to when stressed etc. For me it's Mariah Carey, Marvin Gaye, Elton John, Kelly Clarkson, Akon, Oasis.

I especially love listening to Pride and Pressure Drop and I think those are two of his best albums.

I found that Pantera, particularly "F*cking Hostile", relaxes me when I've had a bad or I'm angry about something. I know it's weird, but it's like a musical punch to the wall, and I feel better after that. It makes me go from  to :lookaroun

Angry-ass music totally bakes, it's completely therapeutic. I just want to pick
up any three of my electric guitars and just destroy on them!!! :guitar: :guitar: :guitar:

That's killer when Phil Anselmo screams so loud at the end of the song that the mics feed back!! :singer:

When Dime and Vinnie played the song for their dad, he freaked out, ripped the album from the stereo and told them, "People are gonna think there's something wrong with the record!!"

children of bodom is good for angst.
medieval gregorian chants are good for when i've just had a rough day and don't feel angry or anything.

Depends. Sad mood calls for sad or mellow music, mostly 70s or 80s. Angry calls for harder rock. Foreigner perhaps; they work well for both moods!
