The Huxtables are back on DVD all in one complete set with every single episode...unedited (even season one)! One of the most popular shows in the history of television is now available in one amazing box set from First Look Entertainment. Relive all your favorite moments from the show that almost single-handedly revived the sitcom in 1984. The Cosby Show regularly appears in lists of the greatest shows of all time, yet it remains as vibrant today as one of Cliff Huxtable's sweaters!

From their brownstone house in Brooklyn, Cliff and Clair Huxtable watched over their family with style, wit and wisdom, not to mention a whole lot of laughs. The values they represented clearly struck a nerve with the public as the show was an instant success - never out of the top 20 in ratings, and one of only two shows to hold TV's #1 spot for five years in a row. The new collection brings together every original network episode for its legendary eight-year run. Take a look back at the stellar cast along with the many all-star guest appearances: Stevie Wonder, Sammy Davis, Jr., Betty Carter, B.B. King, Adam Sandler, John Ritter and many more.

The series stars Dr. Bill Cosby as Dr. Heathcliff Huxtable, Phylicia Rashad as Clair Huxtable, Sabrina Le Beauf as Sondra Huxtable, Lisa Bonet as Denise Huxtable, Malcolm-Jamal Warner as Theo Huxtable, Tempest Bledsoe as Vanessa Huxtable, Geoffrey Owens as Elvin Tibideaux, Joseph C. Phillips as Martin Kendall, Erika Alexander as Pam Tucker, with Raven Symone as Olivia Kendall, and Keshia Knight Pulliam as Rudy Huxtable.

Some pics of the set I just bought for those who want to see what it looks like. Looks good to me. Excuse the quality of the pics, I tried to get a few quick shots while I'm at work.

Still a slap in the face to fans who purchased all the individual seasons, so the only way for me to see season 1 uncut is to buy the complete set.

that stinks

Has anyone had a bad set of discs with this box set?

I just received my boxset yesterday from Amazon. Almost all of the discs have a line of paint/ink on them that has come off from the edges of the packaging. I'm in the process of getting a replacement boxset but I was curious if anyone else ran into this.

I was a happy person this Christmas when I got this set. For $99 bucks at Best Buy, I had BETTER enjoy it, my mom said. And I AM! My God, I have been watching this set since Christmas and I have only gotten up to the end of Season 3 as of Last Saturday. I'm getting ready to sit down for the rest of the seasons now. I'm glad I got this set instead of the individual seasons (plus I couldn't find Season 2). So I am a happy camper.

Thanks for the pics! Explains a lot about the packaging, which looks like one of the best complete series sets I've seen.

I have to agree with Solomon, though - I hate it when studios like this add special things you can only get on the complete series set. I'd love to get season 1 uncut, as well as the blooper special, but $90 is out of my price range for just that.

Yep, mine are the same way. So far, I watched the whole first disc and there weren't any problems. But I'm still paranoid that something will go wrong with the discs. And I got mine from Amazon as well.
