Nov. 13

30 Rock (8:30 p.m., NBC/Channel 5) Jennifer Aniston plays a "free-spirited, Fatal Attraction-like stalker" whose prey is Alec Baldwin’s super self-important Jack Donaghy. This episode also finds time for a cast reunion of NBC’s old Night Court sitcom, with Harry Anderson, Markie Post and Charlie Robinson (but not John Larroquette) scheduled to materialize.

I'm not a 30 Rock fan at all, but this may be huge. The rumor that has spread around on blogs is that they're going to reenact a better Night Court ending or something to cheer a character up. I'll watch because I love the whole cast, but without Dan Fielding, it isn't quite right. At least I hope they come up with a good joke explaining Dan's absence (I sort of hope the lack of him isn't because of some big ego trip he developed from hanging around the Boston Legal cast, because I read a while ago that he still gets along with Harry and Markie, but that may have changed since BL)!

The episode description from Fancast:
http://www.fancast.com/tv/30-Rock/9578/episodes/The-One-With-The-Cast-Of-Night-Court/613334
Free-spirited, "Fatal Attraction"-like stalker Claire Harper randomly shows up in New York to visit Liz and Jenna. Claire zeroes in on Jack upon first sight and claims him for her own. Kenneth, distressed and let down over the new page uniforms, turns to Tracy for some cheering up. To make Kenneth smile again, Tracy has a surprise involving the cast of "Night Court."

Yeah, according to the news blog it's tomorrow night at 9:30 on ABC.

YAY! Markie will be there... Sorry John won't. Would have liked to have seen him.

THIS IS AWESOME NEWS, THOUGH!!

I thought I would remind but in this day in age, everyone has access to RAR files or torrents if they miss something. I have it on the Tivo. I'm still miffed that John didn't show up. Dan Fielding is one of my favorite characters of his. Carl Sack ruins everything. :(

EDIT: It just occurred to me that it's tonight when I didn't see it listed in Now Playing. Why did I think it was on last night? Geez.

If you missed it, episodes are available to watch on NBC.com. No downloading or any of that necessary. Of course, the newest ep might not be up yet, but for when it is here's the link. http://www.nbc.com/30_Rock/video/categories/season-3/777501/

It was funny how they finally gave in to what longtime shippers, including what the guy on the show wanted (What is with these Dan/Christine and Dan/Roz people anyway? The only ones meant to be together are Harry and Christine! Dan needed to be off wooing hot business women somewhere as a get-rich-quick scheme.).
Anyway, still upset about the Dan thing. I WANTED to see a silver sleazy Dan of all things. I wanted to see how he used his older looks to his advantage. :(

I turned this on as soon as I got home from class this afternoon. Even though I'm upset about John being missing :horse:, I do have to say I was very impressed with the episode. I was SO SURPRISED that they brought back the original sets (I was surprised that they had not been destroyed)! I was waiting for Bull and Roz to come out and take the nerdy guy off near the end!
Markie and Harry fighting over John was positively hilarious, although I wish they had room for a classic Shatner zinger midst it all.
This was sort of a half-hearted way of saying that Christine and Harry DID get together after all! They always seemed right for eachother, in spite of what the hardcore 'shippers say.

Not only that but now I have the pleasure of saying that Night Court is a degree away from Mariah Carey (The nerd was in her Touch My Body video).

There's a show on Cdn. t.v. called "Whatever Happened To....?" and they had Richard on a couple of months ago. Unfortunately I only caught the very end of it, but it sounds as though he got right out of show business and has been living the good life (in Florida I think) with his wife and kids. He also let his hair grow back.

What a sweety he was!

I thought I saw him in another army show, but i could be mistaken ... it might have been the guy from the Sara Silverman show.
