Anybody ever catch his show?


Did anybody ever get the chance to see his nighttime jazz show.

I remember his kids show when I lived in New Jersey and he was on every afternoon on Channel 5. I still remember my mom referring to him as "Soupy Salesman." His show was so funny with White fang, Black tooth and Pookie the Lion. There was also the blunder that got him suspended in 1965 when he told his young viewers to go to their parents wallets and send him "those little green pieces of paper." But the one thing I'll always remember about the Soupy Sales Show where the many pies he threw or got hit with...there were more than 20,000 pies in his long TV career.
