Ok since this is something Solomon, FSU, myself and a few others have talked about, made picks of our own and came up with, I figured we'd just dedicate a thread to having a winner/loser of the week in your mind, for sports. I know this is a Wednesday and in the middle of the week, so you can choose last week, or last week & this week up until now to have as a backbone or time period for either of your picks, if you decide to make picks or post in here. The choice is yours, you don't have to pick if you don't want. This all in good fun, yet sparks interesting, real sports conversation and gets each of our opinions out their. Next thread I will start on a Sunday, so it's kind of a wrap-up, leading to people making their 2 picks of the week. Got it? Pretty simple, but any questions, ask me or any of the main sports contributors in this forum. Here is my winner and loser of the week. You may follow if you do so & you can post reasons as to why you chose that individual, and what stats they had, no matter the sport, for the week, or for the season if you wish. You can also post numerous winners or losers if you wish.

Winner- Colts- they get back defensive specialist Bob Saunders and running back Joseph Addai, then they get a crucial win over the Pats, 18-15 to go 4-4 at the halfway mark in the NFL '08 season. Despite their record and being so far back from 8-0 division leading Tennessee, their team and play looks like it is on the uprise.

LOSERS- Martin Brodeur- unfortunately for him he is out 3-4 months, despite being most likely the best goaltender all time. He is missing significant time, for the first time in his career as well, as a goalie, and was only 8 wins away from passing former Canadiens and Avalanche goalie Patrick Roy, on the all-time wins list for NHL goalies. Sucks for him.

The Oakland RAIDERS- team in general & most specifically their offense- TERRIBLE and FSU I know would agree with me. 10 yards rushing and only 70 something total yards of offense, in 60 minute games that's ridiculous. Al Davis should be ashamed.

Anyways, sorry for the long read. Post your pics.

Solomon has the Jags as his loser of the week? At least the Jaguars showed HEART in the fourth quarter- they were down 21-3 and at least gave an effort to TRY and win.

The Raiders laid down and died, yet Solomon chose ANOTHER team as his loser of the week?

Solomon should be a loser of the week!

I am surprised by the Jags this season, but white rappers have more offense then the Raiders.

Get it?
