I'm mad because I didn't know. I turned the TV on a few minutes before 5:00 and an episode was going off. I don't like missing UM!

Yeah, I tuned in too late too. Of course, their website mentions nothing of this. They still don't even mention UM unless you really dig on their website. Pathetic. Looks like this will be it and they'll cancel it. Again. And then no one will bring it back.

There is no trace of Unsolved Mysteries on Spike here in Los Angeles! Help!

SPIKE is a satellite channel, and I've watched a California feed and it comes on at 4 PM Pacific time M-F .
I see what you are referring to where it just says CSI repeatedly, but undoubtedbly that must be an error in the program guide. Tune in anyway and it should come on.

I use Direct TV and have the show recorded on DVR, but I noticed during manage recordings it dosen't appear for the next two weeks to be scheduled. Won't be presumptuous and say it is off the air, but the absence is unusual. This is because it has always recorded while saying "unsolved mysteries." In addition, the programmer even adjusted when it was put on the 9am schedule. It has CSI now scheduled for the UM time slots. Last time, the star wars films interrupted UM for two days, but it may be off the air for a short time now? Imagine after only a few weeks it has been taking off the air? I wish it was much later at night. But after 5 weeks, it may off the air. We will see what Spike TV actually does.
Well re-edit this post and say that I checked the official Spike TV site, and UM is also not scheduled for next week. Maybe it is a temporary thing or they pulled the plug?

I did a search to get more info and saw that UM will air on 11/28 as a special thanksgiving weekend marathan. It will be on for 9 hours (9Am to 6PM Est). So it looks like it might just be a temporary thing. They also will air all the Star Wars films, which many of us already have on DVD's with special features.
Don't know if UM go back to regular schedule in December? I guess we will wait and see. But here is the site that I got the info from http://biz.yahoo.com/prnews/081028/nytu125.html?.v=101
I didn't see the 5 episodes featured today yet, but was a little suprised to see that the SLA-Patty Hearst story was going to be broadcast; don't think that was showed on lifetime often?

I wasn't assuming anything. I was merely stating that I agreed that it was strange that it won't be on tv for the next 2 weeks.

I believe the next episodes aired will be Saturday, Nov 29 at 2 and 3 am:confused:
So, according to my info, nothing for the next 2 weeks.
