My sister and I rented this movie last night and I have to say it's one of the scarriest movies I've seen in a long time! A lot of the new horror movies are all about special effects and gore, not really that scary, but this movie relies on building suspense, and that's terrifying. If you like horror movies, especially suspenseful ones like Halloween, you should definitely see this movie! It made me jump out of my seat a few times, and I don't scare that easily.

I agree. I love horror films, but never really get scared. This movie is definitely creepy, and very well done. I saw it in the theater and people were screaming all over the place.

i wanted to see this in theaters when it came out but the previews freaked me out. i would get scared just watching them. maybe i'll rent it one of these days and watch it. that way, i can lower the volume and possibly fast forward through some parts. lol. i'm rarely in the mood to see a scary movie; but once in a while if i'm sleeping over a friend's house, then it's good. ;) glad you liked it though lulu. a couple of my friends saw it and they said it was one of the scariest they had seen in a while. i could tell it would be a jump out of your seat type of a movie from the previews.

i saw The Strangers in the theater. Long story short I wasn't at all that impressed with it. I thought it sucked.

I started watching this on Friday night with my husband and I must have fallen asleep because the next day I asked him if there was a monster in it! He didn't think that much of it, and I found the beginning to be a little ridiculous. I was going to watch it but he told me that I didn't miss much!

I saw it in the theaters and it has dark element to it and shows violence can be so random.
