Well...another World Series champ....another year of Cubs failure.

Congratulations Philly fans. I'm celebrating vicariously through you tonight.

I know I take sports personal, and have expressed sports in different ways a lot on these boards, but I take sports and the Phillies/Flyers/Sixers/Eagles very serious. Never Have I been a bandwagoner fan. I have stuck with my team, amongst all the hatrid, downfalls, disapointments, failures, the phillies from '94-2000, especially the Terry STINKona years, the Eagles during the mid to late '90s, the Sixers on and off in the '90s and after 2001, the Flyers 2 years ago. This one is for- Mitch Williams aka The Wild Thing, Charlie Manual's late mother, rest in peace, Tug McGraw, rest in peace, Shane Flyin Hawaiian's late grandmother, rest in peace, Jimmy Rollins and every Phillies player on the roster, management and most of all- US FANS WHO HAVE BEEN THROUGH IT ALL, THICK AND THROUGH THIN...THIS IS FOR US...YEAHH!

Fave tastykakes - top 3 1)Peanut butter kandykakes 2)Butterscotch krimpets 3)any variety of their cupcakes, chocolate, butter cream whatever!!

Everytime I'm up there, I grab a few to take home.

I also miss the big soft pretzels & hoagies!! The food up north is soooo much better than down here.

There is a business down here called The Philly Connection and it's about as close to getting a real true cheesesteak. Still getting it up there is much, much better!

Yeah I've heard about the Philly Connection & all those stores trying to resemble the Philadelphia market of treats lol. A lot of stores have the "Philadelphia Cheese steak" topping on sandwiches, such as Hot Pockets etc. which is respectable and cool for us but nothing compares to a REAL Philly cheesesteak, right? Yup, the pretzels and hoagies are outstanding. I agree, the Kandykakes are sooooo good! Love the krimpets as well. All are favorable treats in my mind!
