I don't have any plans. My nephew's birthday is on Saturday (Nov 1) so I'm in NJ for the weekend. I'll probably head to New Jersey on Friday, since the city tends to get a little crazy if Halloween falls on a weekend. I'll probably hang out at home with the folks and eat the candy my mother bought for the trick or treaters.

I'm going to dress up as a hooker and pass out candy with my mom while my dad and brother's go to my grandpa's house.

I used to do that when I was living in an apartmant and hated everybody in the apt complex. Alot of them lived off the state(which I have no problem with if you really need it). Well, that meant that they would be up at all hours of the night, being loud, and annoying those of us who actually had a job and had to be up early for it!!

But ever since I got my house, I go all out for Halloween. I decorate my house, alot of times a little too much!!:D

For the past few years, I've been making up goody bags for the kids with candy and party favors. So that's what I'll be doing again this year!! I hope to have a really good turn-out this year since it's on Fri. night and the kids can be out a little later.

I have to work on Saturday morning so me and a couple of friends are going to watch The Haunting of Molly Hartley in the theaters.

Since I had to miss Halloween last year, and it's one of my favourite holidays, I'm planning on doing it up big this year.

I'm going out this afternoon to buy more supplies, and plan to decorate the house in a "Welcome To My Nightmare" theme a la Alice Cooper. Then I'll dress up as Alice while handing out candy to the kiddies. There's a ton of kids in my new area so I'm planning a lot.

Frank is even planning on coming over and will bring the dogs with him. Bailey is dressing as Jack Sparrow (a costume I bought last year but didn't get the chance to use) and Eeka will be a lumberjack. Frank is also bringing some wine with him for us to sip on during the evening so I'm really looking forward to it.

Working at the Halloween dance, dealing with drunk kids. Fun. I only have to work half so I can attend the rest if I want, but I don't plan on it. Dancing with drunk kids doesn't sound appealing to me.

I do have a cute female mobster costume, though. I'll post pics. :)

The company my husband works for is having a costume party friday night. We may go to it, but probably won't dress up. Half the people who attend don't wear costumes. But its fun to see the crazy outfits some of those people come up with.

First you 2 are too cute!! Second I wore that same exact nose and ear headband to answer my door to trick or treaters last year. I dressed all in black and then put the nose and headband on. Great minds think alike!

As far as Halloween goes I will be answering the door to trick or treaters. I wanted to dress as Punky Brewster to greet them but don't think todays kids will know who I am. They'll probably think I'm color blind or just have bad taste! So I'll most likely end up in the cat outfit again.

There are some pretty cool activies going around on campus Friday and I'm going to use Halloween as an excuse to wear my favorite suit with tie, suspenders and heels. Casual is cool, but I want to look all styling and profiling for a change. :)

I will go to a Halloween Party hopefully at a mexican restaurant or one of the public bars on Friday. If I go I will wear my Halloween T-shirt.

Ooooh, dogs dressed up in H/ween costumes!! I love it!! I've been tempted to buy costumes for my dogs. The only thing I have right now is a witches hat with braids on each side and my dogs wear that!!

For Christmas, I do have a Santa's outfit I put on my dogs, though!!


I'm like you - decorate for EVERY event - I even have Easter lights and wreaths now! They call me Martha Stewart! lol

This afternoon I'm going to get the outside decorated. Thankfully the wind has died down a bit and I hope it stays that way, or my 4 foot fuzzy spider is going to be airborne!

You can buy a lot of Decorations everywhere. And there are Parties in the big Cites (I'm CountrySide) but ... it's not celebrated like in America.

My roommate and I are in the midst of one of our occasional prank fights, with a good Halloween twist.

You know those little soundboards with a speaker that they put in magazines? They activate and make a sound when you turn a page?

Well, my roommate likes to remove those things and hide it somewhere in the apartment, usually taping it inside a drawer or cabinet, so when I open something, it trips the switch and it makes a noise.

He got me good the other night. I opened the medicine cabinet and a recorded shriek greeted me. Scared the crap out of me. :lol:

Just taped it underneath his laptop. When he moves it...

God, I do not even know what the hell I am going to be wearing for Halloween. All I know, that I am thinking about going as an, 80's Rock Chick. I will be wearing this, short, denim mini skirt with a purple top that wraps around the waist with high heels and styling my hair, to make it look, really puffy..:lol:

I have quite a few, and these are some of the few. I had to post the one of my friend dressed as Lil' Wayne. :lol: Anyway, in the first pic I'm on the right, second one I'm in the middle, and third one I'm on the right again being an idiot. Supposed to be a mobster. Best I could do with little time. And no gun. :( I figured a gun would be a bad idea at a school function.

First of all, I have to say that everyone's displays and costumes are great! I'm making that a blanket statement so that I don't forget anyone!

We had a lot of people dress up at work and these three girls dressed like "thugs". This one woman totally looked like a guy! It was freaky! I went in the bathroom once and one of those "guys" was in there and I had to do a double take, wondering if I had gone into the wrong one!:lol:

My husband and I came home from work and greeted the trick or treaters. We usually just leave a bowl of candy outside our front door and then go to the movies, but this year we ended up staying home for a while. It was fun, really. We had a big turnout. We had bought four bags of candy from Dollar Tree and they were gone within an hour or so. Good for us; that way we won't be eating them ourselves!

We ended up going out to eat, but couldn't really find anything worth paying a fortune to see, so maybe we'll do the movie thing tomorrow night. Actually we have plenty to watch around here; Have to squeeze in one last viewing of "The Great Pumpkin" before we have to retire it for another year!


I had a pretty nice Halloween. Last night I was panicking because I couldn't find a costume to wear and all of a sudden it dawned on me.

Fortunately it was a big hit! I promise to post some pictures ASAP!

A great one to do to him, would be to tape some Limburger cheese to the underside of his bed or nightstand. He won't have a clue where the smell is coming from and it constantly smells like dirty gym socks! One of the best pranks ever I pulled on a boss one time (only taped it to the underside of his desk).
He might be expecting sound.....but he won't expect smell! ;)
