I doubt very much that FOX did it, FOX is under contract to carry the World Series and even if nobody was watching, They wouldn't just up and cancel it. The series would still go until one of the teams won four games. They can't just declare Philadelphia the winner.

well I am surprised that they cancelled the world series, but I was never a baseball fan so all it means to me is that the FOX shows I watch come back a few weeks earlier.

I'm not trying to be an ass, it's just that I don't like him at all. He's a horrible pitcher. If you had a guy on your team who lost you so many games, and had the highest ERA among starters in the league last year and this year (he had an ERA collectively around 6.00), you would be mad too. It's ridiculous how bad he was for us, but if you're a fan of him somehow, I won't say anything further.

I don't blame you- he's theur weak link who cost them games that prevented them from winning the division earlier.
