Australia, hands down...under (hahaha, wow lame pun)

It was really funny, and I totally loved how much Blair/Jo time there was. Lisa and Nancy were so great together.

I did like Paris. though...kind of. It seemed kind of fractured. The point of it was probably to show that the girls and Mrs. G could have lives apart from each other or whatever. I still prefer FOL Down Under, though.

Yes. I loved how much time was focused on Lisa and Nancy. Thats what made it good.

Down Under had more funny lines and situations.

Paris was bittersweet with Jo's romance that we never saw to a proper conclusion......it would have been neat if he had showed up on a future FOL episode.

Truthfully, I don't think either is that good. There are so many episodes that are better than either of those movies. The Paris movie is enjoyable though. I love the scene between Jo and Blair at the airport towards the end. It showed how much Blair cares for Jo. I also thought Jo's romance was pretty touching. I think the Down Under movie was pretty poor.

I loved both but "down under" was really great. I loved all the air time blair and jo got. They act so well together.

I too liked both movies a lot! I would be very interested in knowing where the starter of this thread got those two pictures of Lisa. In my opinion, the boots and the purse together are to die for! Also, I would be very interested in knowing what he or she thinks of the last post and I made regarding all of those other pictures that I was talking about!

I would really like to thank the last poster for getting back to me on my questions! I think that he is she is very lucky to have met Lisa in person! If the poster likes the way that I write and would like to know my take on other shows and the performers in them, I would like to tell him or her where they should go. Back when I responded to "Sonny With a Chance" I mentioned my appreciation for Julie from "Gimme a Break!" If there is another babe in the world who can surpass the site of Lisa Whelchel in boots Julie (played by Lauri Hendler) is the one to do it! The "Gimme a Break!" page of this site is loaded with threads started by me! Most of them have a bunch of views and zero responses. Also, in at least two of my posts on this page, I mentioned the fondness for the clutch purse that Lisa was carrying in one of the pictures submitted by this poster. Well, in my humble opinion, if there is any other babe besides Lisa who could really clutch a purse, it is Katie from "Gimme a Break!" By the way, this part was played by Kari Michaelson. Before signing off, there is one more post that I would like to tell you guys about. This is on the "Friends" page and it is called "A Tale of Two Lisas". You would have to read the thread in order to know who the other Lisa besides Lisa Whelchel is. The last time I checked, this was the last thread on that page and it had several views and zero responses. Shortly after I submit this response, I will be checking that page to see if anything has changed within the past could of hours!

I haven't seen either one of them in a really long time, but I think if I remember right, I liked the Austrailia one more. :)

Down Under was funnier, but I thought Paris was more touching, both were a little awkward though! honestly, the regular episodes are better!

I'm surprised people found either of these movies boring. I love them both. I've seen them several times. I remember seeing "Down Under" when it premiered and how excited I was. Hard for me to pick a favorite. I love the acting in "Paris" (a bit campy and a bit exaggerated but to me that made it so much fun to watch, very funny). I really like how Paris divided the girls' stories. Blair walking around in Paris and wandering into the bookstore is such a beautiful scene. Jo's love story is very sweet and touching. It was nice to see something different apart from the regular episodes. Can't wait for the dvds!! :)

Okay so I rewatched both TV movies and I don't really know which I like better, they both are good. Down Under is funnier and Paris is more touching and emotional. I like the stories in both. It's hard to choose. I like the Blair/Jo storyline in Down Under and just the Paris one is cool with them doing their own thing as well. I thought they were both equally good. :)

At least characters from both eras traveled internationally.

Neither - but at least they were better than Family Ties in England.
