Fifth season is due to be issued on January 20th, 2009. This is good news, hopefully they will do a better job on the episodes this time because the quality of season four left a lot to be desired.
Update: According to information I read on Amazon, don't expect better quality for the season five DVD's. Apparently the quality will be on par with season four. That's too bad, but the main thing is that the episodes be uncut. A few episodes from season four have really poor sound, hopefully there will be no sound problems with season five.

I received the season five DVD. The video quality is on par with season four, as they continue to use unrestored syndicated masters for the transfer. The episodes appear to be uncut and the audio level seems to be a little better this time. The 4th episode on disc 5 has some video problems. Season five is another great batch of episodes, despite the lackluster quality of the prints used for the DVD's. Fans deserve to receive better quality, Universal started dropping the ball with the season 3 DVD as some syndicated prints were used for that set.
Hopefully season six will be issued, that would complete the series other than the special episodes/movies that were made after the main series ended.

I got my 5th season of Emergency. The video isn't the greatest, but it's still pretty good and best of all is that the episodes are uncut. :)

Yep, although the source material used for the episodes could be of better quality, the episodes are complete. I'm already eager for season six which would complete the main series, but I imagine the wait will be another year till next January before it's issued.
