I used to own a TracFone up until July 2008. My phone was stuck on ROAMING for about a week. I called customer support (spoke with someone from South America or some other exotic location). They said since it was an older model, they are no longer providing service to those models. I was livid because they did not even warn the customers. With their customer service skills and all their other bad things, I wonder how they stay in business.

I too used to have a Tracfone...until they gave away my phone #!! I was up to date on minutes too. My BF kept trying to call me, but he constantly got some surly teenage boy. I was pissed.

I have no complaints......I'm on my second phone (due to my stupidity--see the thread "What a dunderhead!"). I love it and the service has been fine for me.

I was with them for awhile and i had no problem at all. I think it's a good company if you want just a phone without all the extra stuff.
