Has anyone out there heard if Barney Miller season 3 is being released anytime soon? I have been watching seasons 1 and 2 and I am really getting anxious to see the rest of the seasons. I checked on TVshowsonDVD.com, but there is nothing there. I've also checked the Sony website and emailed them, but no response. I hate it when they leave us hanging like this, like Fox did with The Mary Tyler Moore Show.

Sadly, I haven't heard anything about Season 3. This is Sony we're talking about - it only took them 4 years to release Season 2!! :mad:

What were the sales like for season two? That often will give an indication of how quickly subsequent seasons will be released. If season two sold well, that would be a good sign of additional releases coming sooner rather than later.

I really hope they release 3. The series really took off in season 3 and there were some truly CLASSIC episodes that year.

In any case, at least I have all the BM episodes featuring my honey, Gregory Sierra (Chano). :eyes:

Seasons 1 and 2 had some funny episodes but season 3 is terrific -- every show was a gem! Thanks to a member here I have season 3 on tape to enjoy! :-)

I highly enjoyed the Election episode, which I believe was from Season 3.

Just thought you all would like to know that IMDb (www.imdb.com) has 63 full uncut episodes of Barney Miller available for viewing online. They have the seasons 1 and 2 episodes plus several from seasons 3 and 4, including "The Werewolf." I've watched all of the episodes that are not on the seasons 1 and 2 DVDs. Hulu (www.hulu.com) also has a limited number of episodes. I watched "Hash" on Youtube. Someone had recorded it from TV Land and posted it on Youtube in 3 parts. It was edited for syndication and the video quality was not good but I still laughed my head off! This is one of the best shows on television. I wish Sony would get on the ball here and release the rest of the show. It is so frustrating that they don't! Anyway, I guess we just have get it where we can!

YAY!!! This is the best news I have heard all year (in regards of DVD releases). I am absolutely thrilled. I am so looking forward to the 3rd season DVD of Barney Miller. Not only is Barney Miller one of my favorite shows, but this particular season is my all time favorite. I cannot wait until March:)
