Sickening. The Cowboys are on the verge of getting blown out by the Rams. The Defense can't stop anybody. More stupid mistakes. Johnson just threw a pick. This team is unprepared once again.

Even if they come back and win I don't think anyone's going to be happy. Dallas is making the Rams look like a SB team. Mr. Television 10-19-2008, 01:57 PM They lucked out this last time. I never liked the guy , or thought he was a good coach. Mr. Television 10-19-2008, 02:02 PM They need to get rid of Wade. I never liked the guy , or thought he was a good coach. I didn't care for him when he was in Buffalo. I would love to get Bill Cowher. He coaches with emotion,. Bradie James is hurt. It keeps getting worst. TVFactFan 10-19-2008, 02:05 PM Sickening. The Cowboys are on the verge of getting blown out by the Rams. The Defense can't stop anybody. More stupid mistakes. Johnson just threw a pick. This team is unprepared once again. I think he has to be fired if they get blown out by the Rams bandito 10-19-2008, 02:07 PM I didn't care for him when he was in Buffalo. I would love to get Bill Cowher. He coaches with emotion,. Bradie James is hurt. It keeps getting worst.Cowher would never work for Jerry Jones. If Cowher coached that team, they would have already won 2 Super Bowls, with the talent they have. TVFactFan 10-19-2008, 02:09 PM Cowher would never work for Jerry Jones. If Cowher coached that team, they would have already won 2 Super Bowls, with the talent they have. I can just imagine the locker room explosion tonight after a loss to the Rams bandito 10-19-2008, 02:11 PM Hey Solomon, I know you hate the Steelers but maybe you should switch the channel, thier game is more entertaining. Mr. Television 10-19-2008, 02:21 PM Cowher would never work for Jerry Jones. If Cowher coached that team, they would have already won 2 Super Bowls, with the talent they have. I agree. Bill Parcells built this team but bad coaching is ruining it. Why in the world would the Dallas Cowboys have to chose between Wade Phillips and Norv Turner? TVFactFan 10-19-2008, 02:25 PM Hey Solomon, I know you hate the Steelers but maybe you should switch the channel, thier game is more entertaining. I don't watch any games with a 0-6 team involved bandito 10-19-2008, 02:32 PM I don't watch any games with a 0-6 team involvedOh, I see. You just watch 1-4 teams.  TVFactFan 10-19-2008, 02:36 PM Oh, I see. You just watch 1-4 teams.  Niners are 2-4 and the giants are 4-2 and in the NFC East. I would think that game is more important to me Mr. Television 10-19-2008, 03:19 PM In all my years as a Cowboy fan, this has to be one of the lowpoints. During the late 80's we were bad but we played hard. During the Campo years we were bad but we lost close games and played hard. This team has talent and just has no heart at all. I don't even know where they go from here. When you're bad, you bring in better players but what happens when you have good players and they underperform? I guess all you can do is fire the coaches. I'm not convinced Garrett is going to be any better than Wade. TVFactFan 10-19-2008, 03:28 PM In all my years as a Cowboy fan, this has to be one of the lowpoints. Mr. Television 10-19-2008, 03:31 PM And they still have 7points, the Rams Defense is that STRONG? Today they are although the Cowboys are making it easy on them with all kinds of penalties and mistakes. Someone said that if you changed the Cowboys uniforms with the Lions you couldn't tell the teams apart. bandito 10-19-2008, 03:34 PM In all my years as a Cowboy fan, this has to be one of the lowpoints. TVFactFan 10-19-2008, 03:36 PM I wouldn't sweat it too much. Every team has bad games, and Dallas is having one today. They will get it together, there too good not to. THREE BAD GAMES GARFIELDKOOL 10-19-2008, 07:50 PM I think we gave the Rams life when they beat us last week. Based on what I saw today, Brad Johnson has no mobility whatsoever. The Boys should go with that 3rd stringer. TVFactFan 10-19-2008, 08:25 PM I think we gave the Rams life when they beat us last week. Based on what I saw today, Brad Johnson has no mobility whatsoever. Based on what I saw today, Brad Johnson has no mobility whatsoever. The Boys should go with that 3rd stringer. The 3rd stringer is who? Crayton...I'm not even sure. lol Johnson played awful today but he wasn't the only reason we lost. The team is making too many mistakes and our defense sucks. I think Ware is the only one who showed up to play today on defense. Mr. Television 10-19-2008, 09:35 PM I think Wade is doing a fine job :D At this point I'd even take Andy Reid and you know what I think of him. Wreckless 10-19-2008, 11:35 PM I never liked Wade Phillips. He is a fat, cocky snob who celebrates before a game is decided, as a win or loss. I can't believe he was one of our coaches in the late '80s. As much as I don't like some of the moves or non-moves and decisions Andy makes and his boring persona, Wade isn't any better. A great team but he doesn't seem to know how to work them to the best of their ability. I will give the guy credit that he has SOMEWHAT toned T.O. down but not really. T.O. is still a incoherent maniac, but WP has kept him from blowing up that team like he did in SF & Philly, and even when he got traded to Baltimore briefly, before Philly. bandito 10-20-2008, 05:01 PM I think Wade is doing a fine job :DWade isn't coaching the Cowboys, Jerry Jones is. Wreckless 10-20-2008, 05:03 PM Want some cake? Big C 10-20-2008, 05:10 PM I'm a Bills fan- I have BAD MEMORIES of what he did in Buffalo. TVFactFan 10-20-2008, 06:24 PM I'm a Bills fan- I have BAD MEMORIES of what he did in Buffalo. When he chose Rob Johnson over Doug Flutie, I knew he was an idiot. catlover79 10-20-2008, 06:47 PM I misread this thread at first. I thought it said "time to fire WILSON Phillips". I was like, WHAT!?? TVFactFan 10-20-2008, 06:49 PM When he chose Rob Johnson over Doug Flutie, I knew he was an idiot. Wait a minute Sonny, if you remember Rob Johnson led the Bills down the Field and they were able to kick a FG with like 10 seconds left. It was the special teams that lost that game-lol Mr. Television 10-20-2008, 06:52 PM Wait a minute Sonny, if you remember Rob Johnson led the Bills down the Field and they were able to kick a FG with like 10 seconds left. It was the special teams that lost that game-lol Yea he played pretty well in that game but if you remember his tenure overall as QB of the Bills, he was a joke. He got a big contract out of one game when he was a backup....I think he was at Miami. Doug Flutie rallied that team game after game and the fans wanted him as starter. Wade went against them. Johnson was Wade's pick as starter even though Flutie was the better QB .It divided the team . If you noticed Johnson disappeared after Wade left the team. I don't even remember where he ended up. I'm not afraid to admit that I thought rob Johnson was the right choice-lol Flutie was to short to be a NFL QB Mr. Television 10-20-2008, 07:03 PM I'm not afraid to admit that I thought rob Johnson was the right choice-lol Flutie was to short to be a NFL QB See that's what everyone thought. lol Flutie though had a better NFL career than Johnson. He had something nobody on the Cowboys have and that was heart. It made up for his shortcomings. I wish Romo had a little bit of the leadership that Flutie had. lol TVFactFan 10-20-2008, 07:04 PM Ron Johnson played 2 more season with the Bills affter the Music City Miracle and was picked up by Tampa, cut, in 2003, then picked up by Oakland, and then cut in 2003, picked up one more time by Washington, and finally cut in 2003_LOL catlover79 10-20-2008, 07:07 PM See that's what everyone thought. lol Flutie though had a better NFL career than Johnson. He had something nobody on the Cowboys have and that was heart. It made up for his shortcomings. I wish Romo had a little bit of the leadership that Flutie had. lol Doug Flutie seems like such a nice guy...my heart went out to him because of his son. It's nice that he is such a tireless worker on behalf of autism and other children's issues. I haven't seen them on many national games since then. I haven't even seen them play yet this year and they're 5-1. Mr. Television 10-20-2008, 07:10 PM Doug Flutie seems like such a nice guy...my heart went out to him because of his son. My heart went out to him too. catlover79 10-20-2008, 07:13 PM I always liked him. He always seems so down to Earth. My heart went out to him too. I always remember the ever present "Flutie Flakes" box on top of Ray and Debra Barone's fridge on Everybody Loves Raymond. :D |
