Cool news...

My company is sponsoring a charity event for the Boys & Girls club in Hartford, CT at Black Eyed Sally's - and my boss had got in touch with Peter Tork and somehow he will be able to play at the event.

My Dad's band "Deaf Dog" will be one of the bands on the bill but my boss' boss also invited Peter Tork to sing on a few songs with them.

Pretty cool -- hopefully I'll get to meet him and have him sign one of my memoralbilia.

If anyone in CT wants to get tickets to this let me know and I'll give you the info on it.

Two Things I want to mention:

1st) is that this Benefit is just about Sold out

2) I think Peter will also be doing his own set (solo - without his band) - and my Dad's band Deaf Dog will be playing "I'm A Believer" with Peter. Another local band on the bill "Catalyst" will also performing their own set with Peter coming on for another song at the end of their set (don't know the song though).


Pretty cool stuff - Our company is Sponsoring this benefit and my boss is in charge of the arrangements. She actually gave me an invitation to go with her to the meeting regarding the benefit and talk details about the musical half with Peter. I had a previous engagement though (shucks!) so I missed out on that.
