The red Sox is a damm good team, no lie, I have a lot of respect for them which is why I was still nervous in the 9th. Red Sox will be right back next year

Congrats Rays, Now Beat the Living SH*T OUT OF THE PHILLIES

That's too bad that they lost, but I agree... it sounds like they are really worried about not winning game 7. I like your theory of the first date thing. The second "first date" could be a lot better! Well, hopefully the Ray's "second first date" will make their dreams come true! (was that corny or what?!? )

The Rays let the Red Sox off the hook. Boston has all the momentum now. They are the defending champions with tons of experience and the Rays are starting to play tight. I expect Boston to win now.

Yeah. I forgot the game is on TBS and not on FOX.

Did Garcia get a ring with the White Sox?

EDIT: Sorry for some reason I thought it said Garcia but it's Garza.

It would be nice if they can add 2 more runs in the bottom of the 8th. I don't trust the redsox and feel they can come back from a 3-1 in the bottom of the 9th

Not over yet, 3-1 to me is not big enough when playing the red sox. Looks like it will be 3-1 going into the 9th

^ Yeah I know. I'm glad TB is sticking with and has confidence with rookie David Price. Not a number one pick overall for nothing, this kid is a beast on the mound in the games he's been in. Hopefully TB can hold on, Boston is a great team that never hesitates to keep hitting and make comebacks.

Wow!

Congrats to the Rays and their fans.

At a time when I should be psyched about the Cubs getting to the Series, I'll live vicariously through the Rays.

I'm excited for these guys...

I doubt they will Solomon lol. Phillies are a good team. While I like this TB team and congrats to them, TB fans are nothing. They are frontrunners. Not to take away from anything TB has done tonight, these playoffs or this year in general- reg. season & playoffs, but their fans are phonies. When TB's hockey team was in the Conf. & then the SC finals, they didn't even know what offsides was, and they never showed up as much, only when TB finally made the playoffs and went far. It goes to show, Florida is a College football state. Marlins fans are probaby the fakest in all 4 sports, I've seen pictures with 100 people at most, at some of the Dolphin Stadium Marlins games. Like I said, I am just pointing this out. I think TB fans all come out, when they win and go far in the playoffs in any sport.

Although I do take issue with Chip's quote after the win:

"The Rays can fly the flag after 10 years of futility."

C'mon, Chip. You called Cubs games, for crying out loud! Ten years is a drop in the bucket.

There are only two or three teams who have not experienced ten years of "futility" right now.

How about, "WELCOME TO THE WORLD SERIES!"

Bad broadcasting. Bad broadcasting, indeed.

That's awesome! The Rays are going to the Series! Unbelievable!  Not that they couldn't do it, but I was almost sure the Sox would beat them! I was watching the game earlier tonight in a restaurant and the Tampa Bay/Seahawks game was on as well. That was funny to see two Tampa Bay teams playing at the same time. I was yelling at the TV because the Rays were down 1-0, but the Buckaneers were up 7-0. I yelled "Hey TB, you're winning the WRONG GAME!":nonono:

Anyway, I'm glad they won. I love it when teams go to the World Series (or Superbowl) for the first time, because it means more to them. After a few repeats, I get tired of it but the first time is always the best! :bouncers party:

Game 7 did a 7.9 HH rating and 13.4 million total viewers for TBS last night in prelim numbers. Biggest for baseball on cable since 1998 on ESPN when McGwire hit his 61st HR.
