One thing that we confirmed quite some time ago is the fact that a lot of the work on this sereis was done by the late Larry Rhine. I have done the research and found out that his passing was in year 2000. However, the last time I checked, his surviving wife who was a small-time actress by the name of Hazel Shermet was still living. Well, a new friend that I found on the "Facts of Life" page of this site said that she had heard that Hazel had recently died. I have since punched in her name but was unable to find any information about this reality. That is, if it is a reality! I would be very interested in hearing from anyone who could confirm or deny this statement. If it is, in fact true, I would be interested in any acticles or news resports that mention her or this situation. If she is, in fact dead, I feel that the world has lost a very talented actress and a very pretty lady!
