They ruined this character. They turned the brutal child rapist/child killer into th show's comic relief as the show went on.

Season 1 T-Bag was one of the best villains on television with Knepper's amazing performance. Now he's like a cartoon; just foolish.

They could be doing so much with him and not on the whole Michael/Sara thing.

I agree, his character isn't as scary as it was at first. Every once in awhile the old T-Bag comes through but nobody seems afraid of him anymore.

The character needed to develope and adapt, t bag could not continue to be the same brutal killer ever single season if that would of continued he would not have made it past season 2.

I know - the past couple of episodes especially he just looks like a doofus!

I still hope to see a long, painful lingering death for this creep though. Unfortunately it appears as though the whole show is going off the rails.

With this mustache he has on he looks more like one of Ricky Ricardo's band members than anything menacing...

Maybe not a "long-painful lingering death" as I don't see that happening lol.. maybe if this was HBO.

Anyway, I think T-Bag is Scofield's biggest mistake. In order to save his brother he had to release this psycho back in the world. Before the show comes to an end Scofield and T-Bag should have a face-off where Michael puts and end to the mistake.

With all that... I'd love to see how the show puts T-Bag to a close.
