The Carpenters star Richard Carpenter is looking to make a chart comeback 25 years after the death of his sister Karen - and he wants another singer to fill her spot.
Carpenter staged a press conference in Tokyo, Japan on his 62nd birthday to announce his plans for a 2009 tribute album, a Christmas album and new material.
And he revealed he's looking to record a new album with a new singer - because he still writes his tunes as duets.
Karen Carpenter died in 1983, aged 32, following complications from an eating disorder.
