Anyone celebrate it? I gave my boss Valerie who's extra super nice a card with $25 gift card to McDonalds as she comes in with a breakfast sandwich every morning. Valerie is the sweetest boss I ever had. She is not fake or phony at all and is always friendly and down to earth. Theres nothing intimidating about her. I'm very lucky.

Some people might actually like their boss. I had nothing but bad lucky with the bosses I had. Lucky I am my own boss now. This goes out to those "Funky Bosses" out there... ya know who you are :yousuck:

I gave my boss a card. I thought about doing something more, but he's told me a few times that he hates being called "boss", so I kept it low-key. I gave him some tickets to the Seattle Aquarium for his birthday, which was a few months ago. He was funny when he thanked me for the card. He said "I didn't even know there was a boss' day!"

My other boss has been there as long as I have (almost 7 years), and I was going to get her a card as well, but I gave her an anniversary card last week because it was her one year wedding anniversary. She was really touched over that. It was actually in September but she was gone, so I just stuck it in her box for her to find.
Her birthday is on Halloween pumpkin: (how cool is THAT?), so I have another card for her to celebrate her birthday.

Both of my supervisors are awesome! Today was a little sad though because I couldn't help but remember our "big boss" who was manager of the whole floor. He died of lung cancer in February and I miss him so much it hurts sometimes. :(

Sorry to hear about your late boss. On a lighter note, my grandparents anniversary was on Halloween

I would celebrate the removal of a INGROWN TOENAIL before I ever celebrate National Boss day.

I had a boss like that a few years ago. The only thing I would have given him for Boss' Day was a one way ticket to the depths of HELL.
