Kentucky Fried Chicken (closed 1981) (DEMOLISHED)
*** This place was not around that long. Rumor is that the manager stole a lot of money and ran.

Little Ceasar's Pizza (closed 1997) (FBAS)
*** This was around for only 4 years. I miss this place so much.

Acme (closed 1996) (DEMOLISHED)
*** Most of the Acme stores went bankrupt.

Sherwin Williams (closed late 1960's) (DEMOLISHED)
*** This store was demolished to make room for a highway.

Ponderosa (closed 2007) (SE)
*** The food started to suck snd they did not pay their taxes.

KMart (closed 1998) (FBAS)
*** Ours closed when the company closed a whole bunch of them. I miss the lunch counter and their ICEE's.

WoolWorths (closed 1997) (DEMOLISHED)
*** Closed when the company went bankrupt.

Hallmark (closed 2008) (SE)
*** Business was slowing down because of their high prices.

Poore Simon (closed 2000) (FBAS)
*** Most of these locations closed.

JCPenney (closed 1998) (FBAS)
*** Our store just started to go way down because they were too high priced.

Dominoe's Pizza (closed 1992) (SE)
*** Rumor is that someone found a rat's tail in their pizza and the health department shut them down.

Ames (closed 2002) (FBAS)
*** They used to have candy machines out front and a song played: "candy man, i'm the candy man."

Jamesway (closed early 1990's) (FBAS)
*** This store I remember vaguely. It closed because the whole chain closed.

Toy Works ( closed 2003) (FBAS)
*** The chain of stores was doing poorly and they closed a lot of these stores.

Brook's Drug Store (closed 1992) (FBAS)
*** Not shure why they closed because Brooks was a part of Rite Aid back then and the chain seemed to be doing well.

Osco Drug Stores. Walgreens ran them all out of town.

Albertson's grocery store. I never did get into one of them, but I heard they were expensive. The one closest to me has to have closed a good 10 or more years ago and the building is still empty. ohno:

Little Caesars. I miss it too. I want some crazy bread!!

We lost Fuddrucker's a long time ago, but we recently got it back. Yay!
