Nickelodeon's "SpongeBob SquarePants" had a big night Monday, drawing 7.7 million total viewers to a half-hour special at 8 p.m.

That made the "WhoBob WhatPants?" special the most-watched entertainment program of the night among total viewers -- and second overall to ESPN's "Monday Night Football" -- and the No. 1 telecast on all of TV in the kids and tween demos. The special averaged 4.1 million kids 2-11, 2.7 million kids 6-11 and 2.3 million tweens 9-14.

In other news, TLC's "Jon & Kate Plus 8" had its most-watched episode ever at 9:30 p.m. Monday, averaging 3.2 million viewers, including 1.3 million women 25-54 and 1.4 million 18-49.

At 8 p.m. Monday, the Season 4 premiere of TLC's "Little People, Big World" averaged 2.3 million total viewers.

Elsewhere, Bravo's "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" averaged 1.2 million viewers in its second episode at 9 p.m. Tuesday. That's an 80% increase over the series premiere, which aired opposite the second presidential debate between John McCain and Barack Obama. The episode also was up 98% in adults 18-49, averaging 873,000 viewers in the demo.
