Are there any New Agers here? (other than myself.) Or any people with New Age beliefs?
New Age is definitely the path for me. It's such a great religion (not that other religions aren't great.) But the New Age, to me, is just so fascinating.
One of the beliefs that a lot of New Agers have is the belief and practice of astral projection, which is leaving our bodies and getting onto the astral plane. Every person leaves their body unconsciously while they are asleep - but you can also learn how to consciously exit your body when you are awake and get onto the astral plane. You can do anything you want, go anywhere you want - meet dead people, meet fictional people.
Also, when you're out of your body, you can be in the RTZ (Real Time Zone) - basically, out of your body and floating around the physical world. You can travel to different planets, to the moon, anywhere in the world. I really want to master astral projection.
Another New Age belief (and a belief that I share) is that we create our realities through our thoughts, beliefs and emotions. I believe that we are vibrational beings and every thought we send out is a piece of energy to the universe. The Law of Attraction will bring us what we think about, so if constantly think and feel negatively, then we attract those experiences to us.
As I've mentioned before, I also attend the spiritualist church and would like to be a medium one day.
I'm still a Christian, however. The term I use for myself is "New Age Christian."
