Hey everybody. I was just on aol and I saw one of their stories. Apparently Maureen McCormick (actress who played "Marcia Brady") has just written a book about her personal battles with drug addiction, selling sex, etc., etc. I'm a real skeptic and to me, it just seems that she's doing this as an attempt to make money. I mean, to the world she was the perfect "Marcia, Marcia, Marica!" and all but on the inside her life was a disaster, but um...isn't that kind of true for all of us? I mean, how much of our true selves do we really like for the rest of the world to see, and who doesn't have personal issues and problems that are hard for us to deal with at times? Should she really be getting all this publicity and money she's going to make from this book for having hard times, just because she was Marcia Brady? I mean, don't get me wrong. I take my hat off to her for going through rehab and getting the help she needed, but still, it's hardly like she was the first person to have to deal with tough family and personal problems. That's life! Anyway, I think the book is set to be released tomorrow. Are any of you guys planning on buying it? I for one am saving my money for something a little more important, like my bills and groceries! And that's just my opinion. If any of you are big Marcia Brady fans, I didn't mean to step on your toes. It just annoys me a little because she's not the only one.
