Hey everybody. People typically do this in the ChitChat forum but I wanted to start a special thread in honor of FactsFan because she usually hangs out in the Facts areas more. I haven't been here long but she's already become a very close friend of mine and she never had to but she was there for me and helped me through some very bad rough patches these past few months. She's one of the most compassionate and kind people I've ever met, and one of the most generous, and I thought it was past time for me to say thank you. :) You're the best, FactsFan!

FactsFan is one of my favorite people here. She's only a couple of months older than I am. Also, she works with special education students and I really repect that. I look forward to getting to know her better.

I had no idea that the poster who calls herself "FactsFan" was a special ed. teacher! For me that is a very interesting coincidence. I have received services from special ed. from the time I was in first grade all the way through college! At the present moment, I am a client in an organization for special needs adults. The closest thing I have to employment is volunteering at Saint Barnabas Hospice twice a week for a stipend that comes to about thirteen dollars a day. It is because this is the life that I have that I have as much time on my hands that I spend visiting boards like this and getting my two cents in every pot! One thing that I do not want you to think is that I am telling you all of this as a cry for sympathy. I would just like to give you an idea of where I am comming from and honor "FactsFan"! Bye!

Thanks for coming to honor me Smartboy. It was very nice of you. I really enjoy working with my little first graders everyday and I am sure all of your teachers enjoyed watching you learn and grow as well.
