Very often when the anchors introduce themselves, they say "those stories" where it makes no sense. For instance, you'll hear, "I'm Dan Rydell alongside Casey McCall. Those stories and more when we return. You're watching Sports Night on CSC. Stick around."

Those stories? What stories? All you've said are your names. If you say something like, "I'm Dan Rydell along with Casey McCall. Suns beat the Mavericks in OT and the Red Sox make a big trade. Those stories and more when we return." Now THAT makes sense.

I'm surprised they never took notice of this and how silly it sounds.
