View Full Version : Arizona Cardinals are 4-2!
Big C 10-12-2008, 07:47 PM I think it's time to take Zona seriously.
They are very good, and look at the rest of the division- struggling at times.
Unless littlebelle puts a voodoo curse on Zona, they WILL win the division!
bandito 10-12-2008, 07:50 PM I think the Cardinals looked good today too, I don't want to hear about how good the Cowboys are anymore. lol
Brian Damage 10-12-2008, 07:54 PM ...And they did it without their big receiver Anquan Boldin.
GARFIELDKOOL 10-12-2008, 07:57 PM That was a wild finish! I honestley thought the cards was going to lose the game when it went into OT! I couldn't see them doing much offensively after regulation. But, it was a good game on both sides!
TVFactFan 10-12-2008, 08:01 PM Having a punt blocked and giving up a kickoff return
14 F*CKING points minus 30 is
Dallas 24
Arizona 16
So f*cking Sick right now
Brian Damage 10-12-2008, 08:06 PM Um, Solomon, you do know that was a fumble by Romo in the endzone too right? lol
GARFIELDKOOL 10-12-2008, 08:08 PM Um, Solomon, you do know that was a fumble by Romo in the endzone too right? lol
I know, I couldn't believe the refs overturned that.

Even better, F*CK ROMO and I mean that, FOR GOOD
Not the TEAM, just him
Brian Damage 10-12-2008, 08:10 PM I know, I couldn't believe the refs overturned that.
I swear, I was convinced right then and there that the Cowboys would win.
GARFIELDKOOL 10-12-2008, 08:12 PM I swear, I was convinced right then and there that the Cowboys would win.
I was saying if the Boys do win that game, that play probably could have determined the outcome of the game. Not saying the Cards were great themselves.

The Cardinals definitely showed a lot of physicality.
bandito 10-12-2008, 08:18 PM The Cardinals definitely showed a lot of physicality.Romo is gonna be one sore boy tomorrow lol.

I am confident the Cowboys will be looking to make a statement next week.
GARFIELDKOOL 10-12-2008, 08:29 PM Yeah, I am sure the Boys will blow the Rams out next week, since we couldn't.
TVFactFan 10-12-2008, 08:32 PM I am confident the Cowboys will be looking to make a statement next week.
The only statement I see the cowboys making is-
"we have a D*ckhead for a QB"

i called this game...the cards are virtually unbeatable at home... Their home record in that new stadium is remarkable. I agree I think the cards have FINALLY turned the corner

Solomon, you need to absorb a defeat. You sure can't take losing well. But you expect others to show up here when their team loses so you can let them have it. My team lost today, but I still fell good, and I am laughing!

He is right, it is almost impossible to stay undefeated for an ENTIRE season.
TVFactFan 10-12-2008, 09:21 PM I agree
When was the last time I teased a fan on this board when their team lost? All 3 Eagles losses I didn't say anything I was just happy with the result.

Romo should have just said we sucked today because that was the truth.

LOL
Wreckless 10-12-2008, 09:34 PM I agree, but that's easy to say being a NYG fan this year lol. Not a bad thing though.
TVFactFan 10-12-2008, 09:35 PM When the Steelers, Seahawks lose. You told bandito and littlebelle how their teams stink.
I congratulated Bandito last week when his team won and littlebelle is not a real fan of the NFL so it don't matter. And the seahawks are bad, very bad-lol

Big C 10-12-2008, 10:13 PM Solomon is accusing littlebelle of not being a REAL FAN??
You're lucky she's not on this board right now- she'd go Lights Out on you Merriman style!
She stuck with the Seahawks when they were bad in the 1990s.
Like most of us, she stuck it out with a team during bad times (Ask ClintEastwoodFan about the 1989 Cowboys, ask me about the 2001 and 2005 Bills).
She's a REAL FAN who sticks with her team in hard times and knows things will get better; Solomon, OTOH, will just jump on another team's bandwagon.
Big C 10-12-2008, 10:15 PM littlebelle is not a real fan of the NFL so it don't matter. And the seahawks are bad, very bad-lol
Your almighy Cowboys couldn't beat her team in the playoffs.
Remember the Romo bobbled snap?
Seattle has won more playoff games in three years than the Cowboys have in this decade!

I'm just going by her being on the sports board. If someone is not a regular then I tend to not care how they feel about me talking about their team.
Big C 10-12-2008, 10:20 PM I'm new to this board, and I don't have a lot to brag about when it comes to sports:
4 Super Bowl losses (Garfield's 1991 Redskins and ClintEastwoodFan's 1992 Cowboys, arguably the greatest single-season teams of my lifetime).
Mr. Television 10-12-2008, 10:20 PM he says that stuff all the time... I understand what you mean though with Romo solomon... He really looks like its no big deal to him... That would infuriate me
That's what gets to me. He says turnovers are part of the game but what great QB turns the ball over as much as he does. He never used to do that.

littlebelle 10-13-2008, 12:55 AM I'm not a real NFL fan Solomon? I'm not loyal to my team?
that's why I've had season tickets for every year the Hawks have been at Quest field and at the Kingdome aka before you even knew the F**K they were (yep, that's right I can swear too). Unlike you, I'm a fare weather fan, I STICK with my team. Just because I'm not up on here every second of every pass posting threads doesn't mean I'm not a real fan. You don't know me, you don't know my life so don't say s**t like that that's based off of no knowledge.

Thanks Kyle. I try to keep my cool on here but when I read that stuff Solomon was saying I lost it.
Wreckless 10-13-2008, 01:15 AM No problem, yeah it's alright. I think if you stick with something, not just sports, and don't switch sides or go against it, then what you are with is real, in this case sports- teams in specific. It's cool, I lose my cool a lot. I am so impatient .
littlebelle 10-13-2008, 01:18 AM Yeah, I'm not going to lie, I have anger problems but I try so hard on here to hold it in. It's just like, you can't say if someone is real fan or not judging by how often they come on a message board. If you guys saw me in real life, you would be laughing at Solomon's comments.

Wreckless 10-13-2008, 01:33 AM ^ It's ok lol. I had a pretty good day, although I missed spurts of the Eagles game. My days have been on and off the past week so at least the Phils are still up in their series. Glad you enjoyed LA's win though lol :). Btw, we need to have a chat room on SO. A lot of great convos and ideas on here. The chit chat section helps, just an idea. Anyways, are you ready for the LA-Phi rematch tomorrow night I think it is, Ramona?
littlebelle 10-13-2008, 01:37 AM Yup, it's tomorrow and I'm beyond ready haha. We DO need a chat room, that would be perfect... no waiting for replies lol.
Big C 10-13-2008, 01:38 AM are you ready for the LA-Phi rematch tomorrow night I think it is, Ramona?
Personally, what i'm excited about is the Eagles/Seahawks game in December.
The back-and-forth chitter-chatter between our resident Seahawk fan and the two Eagles fans (Wreckless, mirggles) will be great.
Big C 10-13-2008, 01:39 AM It's amazing how teams and such can change in a few years.
People talk about cycles with sports- that is 100% true.
In 2005, my last year of high-school, LB's Seahawks were on top of the world, my Buffalo Bills were a pathetic bottom-of-the-barrel team that couldn't beat a CFL team, and the Cardinals were the Cardinals.
Wreckless 10-13-2008, 01:40 AM Yes it will be lol. But I will keep the chat fun, but respectful, with good friends. Hurt feelings and disrespecting are not worth it.

don't get your hopes up lol, just kidding jk....
yes it will be a very good team, i am not overlooking seattle. we almost lost to the 49ers today lol, no offense to San Fran. fans. They are not even close to the teams they used to be- in the '80s and '90s lol. Then again, a lot of the good teams aren't either so yeah.
littlebelle 10-13-2008, 01:44 AM Yeah, if I survived the 90's, I'll survive 2008 .
Wreckless 10-13-2008, 01:45 AM That's exactly what I think. I try and keep it that way but other people f-it up.
Yeah. I hope AJ Feeley isn't starting for us when we play Seattle lol. All I can think of is last year's game. Nothing was worst then Mike McMahon lol. 42-0 was a disaster, to be nice.
Wreckless 10-13-2008, 01:48 AM That's true. Gotta have a positive attitude about it lol. I feel as though we have a good team, maybe not great but have the players to do it but we don't. I'm surprised at the Eagles defense, we are causing turnovers which is good but we are still giving up a lot of yards and points, even when the offense and special teams do good. I don't know what's happened to Seattle this year LB, I have not been watching their games closely to see what to pinpoint for their losses, not to bring it up though. I know they have A LOT of wide outs and guys on offense out. We're a little scrapped up on o too lol, L.J., Curtis, Shawn Andrews, Reggie Brown & McNabb always seems to be healthy and not 100% for a game. It sucks though.
littlebelle 10-13-2008, 01:48 AM Yeah. I hope AJ Feeley isn't starting for us when we play Seattle lol. All I can think of is last year's game. Nothing was worst then Mike McMahon lol. 42-0 was a disaster, to be nice.
Haha, good ol' Feeley. All I can think of his face during the famous 42-0 game back in 05. Sorry Kyle, I wont bring it up again ;).
Big C 10-13-2008, 01:50 AM LB,
I know how much you hate the Steelers.
But, how do you feel about the Rams, 49ers, and Cardinals? Seattle plays them twice a year. I'm sure the Rams lit a fire in your eyes when they beat the Seahawks three times in 2004.
Wreckless 10-13-2008, 01:51 AM It's all good lol, a whooping is a whooping, nothing we can do about the past. Seattle went to the SB and so did the Eagles, in the last couple of years. That's better then the Texans, Titans, Redskins, Dallas and other teams have done in that span lol.
littlebelle 10-13-2008, 01:52 AM That's true. Gotta have a positive attitude about it lol. I feel as though we have a good team, maybe not great but have the players to do it but we don't. Yeah our defense sucks with a combination of the injuries makes it a bad season. It's time for Holmgren to go too. He did his job already, turned the team around in a major way, but didn't seem to go anywhere from there. I'll miss him, but I'm excited for next season.
Big C 10-13-2008, 01:53 AM Here's a sad fact:
Our franchises are a combined 0-7 in Super Bowls.
I've had it the roughest of all- the Buffalo Sabres have had a history of letting me down at bad times.
Wreckless 10-13-2008, 01:53 AM Cardinals- great offensively minded team, good veteran QB Warner with a good arm, 2 great WRs, not bad defense and pretty good special teams
49ers- they have SOME but not much, of the pieces to put together a good offense, but they are not their yet. alex smith, who I thought coming out of college would of been better, was a disapointment. frank gore- not bad. they have no receivers though.
rams- just need to re-do their whole team and start over again, maybe keeping bulger and holt.
littlebelle 10-13-2008, 01:55 AM LB,
I know how much you hate the Steelers.
But, how do you feel about the Rams, 49ers, and Cardinals? Seattle plays them twice a year. I'm sure the Rams lit a fire in your eyes when they beat the Seahawks three times in 2004.
Out of all three of them I dislike the Cardinals the most. Just because I know deep down inside, we're actually better then them. I really don't have any harsh feelings for the niners or rams.
Wreckless 10-13-2008, 01:55 AM Here's a sad fact:
Our franchises are a combined 0-7 in Super Bowls.
I've had it the roughest of all- the Buffalo Sabres have had a history of letting me down at bad times.
wow that's horrible lol, never even thought of the combined record of the 3 teams in the SB. Eagles- 1980 & 2004/2005. Seattle in 2005/2006 I believe. Yeah buffalo has had it hard. that sucks for you bro, it's hard to deal with that, espec. when ppl like us have sports so built into our lives, it's like a religion haha.
Wreckless 10-13-2008, 01:58 AM Yeah our defense sucks with a combination of the injuries makes it a bad season. It's time for Holmgren to go too. He did his job already, turned the team around in a major way, but didn't seem to go anywhere from there. I'll miss him, but I'm excited for next season.
yeah i always liked holmgren, great coach- classy, respectable guy who coaches the game great and right. jim mora jr. wasn't bad with ATL, he should do good their next year when he steps up as the coach it looks like.
littlebelle 10-13-2008, 02:01 AM Alright my friends, I'm going to bed. Unfortunately my first class is early so I have to catch up on sleep I missed over this crazy weekend. You guys should be super tired if you're 3/2 hours ahead of me! Haha, good night :) .
Wreckless 10-13-2008, 02:05 AM Yeah I'm tired as well ^ gotta get up in about 7/8 hours. good night :).
TVFactFan 10-13-2008, 01:06 PM Yeah. I hope AJ Feeley isn't starting for us when we play Seattle lol. All I can think of is last year's game. Nothing was worst then Mike McMahon lol. 42-0 was a disaster, to be nice.
Why would A.J feeley be starting against Seattle?
Wreckless 10-13-2008, 06:42 PM I know he wouldn't be starting, it's a joke.
TVFactFan 10-13-2008, 06:44 PM I know he wouldn't be starting, it's a joke.
You had me thinking mcnabb waas injured and I had on ESPN all day so that's why I was confused-lol
Wreckless 10-13-2008, 06:52 PM lol oh, he prolly is secretly injured lol but would still be playing. i just meant a.j. threw to lofa 3 times last meeting, and lofa is not wearing an Eagles jersey lol. littlebelle knows.
TVFactFan 10-13-2008, 07:00 PM lol oh, he prolly is secretly injured lol but would still be playing. i just meant a.j. threw to lofa 3 times last meeting, and lofa is not wearing an Eagles jersey lol. littlebelle knows.
Oh yeah, I have never been able to get a copy of that game on DVD. The day of that game my cable was knocked out by a accident and I only got the first quarter on Tape-lol I was so mad I called out the next day
Wreckless 10-13-2008, 07:02 PM    sucks lol
TVFactFan 10-13-2008, 07:07 PM    sucks lol
My friend always tells me the Football Gods frown on me and stuff like the cable going out happens because of me recording eagles games so I can watch how they lost the next day-lol
Wreckless 10-13-2008, 07:20 PM yeah that's probably true lol
that's the 9th deadliest sin! lol.

Big C 10-13-2008, 09:26 PM LB,
did you get my latest private message?
littlebelle 10-13-2008, 09:31 PM Yeah, I was going to respond, but I forgot about it. I'll reply after I eat dinner .
Big C 10-14-2008, 09:50 PM I'm not a real NFL fan Solomon? I'm not loyal to my team?
that's why I've had season tickets for every year the Hawks have been at Quest field and at the Kingdome aka before you even knew the F**K they were (yep, that's right I can swear too). Unlike you, I'm a fare weather fan, I STICK with my team. Just because I'm not up on here every second of every pass posting threads doesn't mean I'm not a real fan. You don't know me, you don't know my life so don't say s**t like that that's based off of no knowledge.
Post of the Year :clap :clap :clap

gilligan fanatic 10-16-2008, 10:20 AM Arizona has only played 1 divisional game this season. If they can beat Seattle I think they have a shot at it. I have been so suprised at how bad Seattle has been this year. Where did that come from.
