This has a Rielle Hunter-like feel to it.

Despite several denials, the National Enquirer continues to ride this story harder than Casey Aldridge does Jamie Lynn Spears, insisting that America's favorite 17-year-old unwed mom is indeed pregnant for the second time in under a year.

The Enquirer reported last week that Casey got Jamie Lynn Spears pregnant again. After some public denials from the Spears camp, the story fizzled.

But this weekend, the venerable celebrity gossip tabloid has run it back with installment #2, claiming not only that Jamie Lynn is pregnant, but had kept a secret and Casey Aldridge only learned about it through the subsequent media reports.

A close family member has supposedly revealed, anonymously of course, that the Spears family is up in arms. The denials are simply buying time, the source says.

“Jamie Lynn’s mom is furious about the pregnancy,” the family member told the Enquirer. “And she’s livid the news leaked out, especially during her book tour."

"Lynne Spears doesn’t want to talk about it publicly until they sort this out. Jamie Lynn is being pressured by people very close to her to abort. But no decision has been made ... Casey Aldridge is furious," the source added. "Jamie Lynn hadn’t told him about the pregnancy. He learned about it in the media and then confronted her and she told him it was true. Lynne and Jamie Lynn have been arguing nonstop by phone.”

But no matter the turmoil that grips the troubled mother of three-month-old Maddie Briann Aldridge, one thing is for certain, the source maintains:

"If Jamie Lynn has this baby, you can be sure they will try to sell the official confirmation of the pregnancy to a magazine, as well as the baby photos."

Jamie Lynn Spears reportedly made $1 million selling the news of her first pregnancy and the baby photos to a celebrity news and gossip magazine OK!

Interestingly, the Enquirer claims Casey Aldridge attempted to sell his side of the story - that he never cheated on Jamie Lynn - for $100,000 last month.

The Enquirer, with "strong evidence" that he cheated on Jamie Lynn more than once (with Kelli Dawson, Whitney Seals and/or Andrea Revels) turned him down, and he made a deal with another magazine. That magazine, of course, was OK! with it.

the ironic thing about it is that I believe she was one of the celebrities who preached about how great they are because they're not an "immoral slut" and are saving themselves for marriage (like Jonas Brothers and Jordin Sparks among a few others), so it's funny to see her pregnant when still underage and unmarried.

Personally, I think a sex life or lack thereof should be a private matter and when you publically say "I'm a good girl who is saving myself for marriage because I don't want people to think I'm a slut", you open yourself up for scrutiny, especially when Britney and Ashlee both publically spoke of their chastity and then both ended up becoming exposed for having pre-marital sex. It should be a private choice and not something you boast to the world about because it comes back to bite you if you decide a few years later you want to sleep with your boyfriend.

WHY do people believe the tabloids?

LOL, right. Besides being a taboloid, it's pretty much impossible for someone to look that big so soon in a pregnancy.

First of all. Her daughter is 3 months old. Women are advised to wait 6 weeks (1 1/2 months) after giving birth to have sex again, so that their vagina, uterus and the visible part of their genitals can have time to heal. Assuming that were real, she would only be 1 1/2 months along and not even have a OH HAY IM PREGNANT tummy. I bet that picture was from when she was pregnant with her daughter earlier this year.

I believe she had a c-section. It is possible to get pregnant very soon after giving birth in fact some women are even more fertile after having a baby. Time will tell if this one is true or not. :D

If she is, so what. She's still with her boyfriend. They bought a house and are planning to get married, not that it matters. She probably wants her kids to be close in age, which is a good idea. I loved growing up with sisters so close in age. I think she's adorable. Go Jamie. She doesn't need anyone's permission or approval. If that was the case, most of us wouldn't be here today.

lol you're definitely right there...these people need to be a bit more careful in that respect. but other than that, this story is lame...and from a totally crap source.

When and to whom did Jamie Lynn say that to, about not wanting people to think she was a slut? I don't get this "publically exposed having pre-marital sex." They had sex, they didn't do something illegal. Lots of young celebs give interviews, and they're asked these questions. I don't think it's boasting, and I also don't think anything is coming back to bite them them. Jamie has a beautiful baby. So what if she told Seventeen magazine that she wants to save herself, and then didn't. The last thing Jamie Lynn or Britney care about is if people are criticizing them for having sex.

Many young people may want to save themselves for marriage, but it turns out differently. Britney was about 23 or 24 when she had her first child. She's had a rough time, but is on the way back. I hope they have more kids, if that's what they want. It's great having lots of siblings and cousins. Young parents. I think it's great. Jamie's over the moon about her baby, as she should be. She's got it all.

I agree that Jamie Lynn's and Britney's decisions about their sex lives are their business and nobody else's. I guess whenever we have a celebrity whose acting or music or whatever that we really like, it's only natural for us to be curious about who they are in real life, but we do have to remember that they have just as much a right to privacy as anybody else. I certainly wouldn't want a bunch of people knowing if I had slept with somebody when and why and if I was pregnant and who was the father, etc., etc. That information is deeply personal for all of us and it is for them too. I also agree that it is ludacris (sp.??) for Jamie Lynn to be that big if her baby daughter is only 3 months old! But like another person also said, the headline DID get our attention which is probably why the tabloids print such crap in the first place. That was a good point too. Anything to sell more magazines.

Those pictures are from her last pregnancy. I have a vague memory of thinking that it was dangerous for a pregnant woman to wear heels that high and thin. I googled it, and found a message board discussing her last pregnancy with those same pictures.
