View Full Version : Never Ending Pasta Bowl Lee 10-10-2008, 04:17 AM Anybody had this at Olive Garden? If so, what pasta/sauce combinations have you had there? sunshinefizzy 10-10-2008, 08:08 AM Never been there. The food does look delicious. My parents have been there though and they wouldn't recommend it. They would call it the never ending barf fest. Holly 10-10-2008, 08:50 AM i ate there before but i never had that meal sounds yummy!! hmmmmm i love pasta to... phoebe7165 10-10-2008, 11:18 AM I see commercials all the time for that, and as much as I like pasta, I can't eat as much as I used to, so unfortunately I can't pick that menu item!! It seems like a great deal, though, I think it's only $8.95 and you can get a different dish every time. Alot of the bowl combinations sound sooo good!! MusicJunkie 10-10-2008, 02:00 PM I had the linguine with the garlic alfredo sauce with meatballs and it was delicious, I'd definately get it again phoebe7165 10-10-2008, 02:07 PM I had the linguine with the garlic alfredo sauce with meatballs and it was delicious, I'd definately get it again :liplick::rock: That does sound delicious!! TripperFan 10-10-2008, 02:51 PM I wish they hadn't closed the Olive Gardens up here. It was stupid because they were always busy. I used to eat there up to 3 times a week (how I never gained weight I'll never know). We've even made special trips across the border just for the Olive Garden in Lewiston, NY. The border guards laugh at us when they hear why we want to enter the United States when we tell them it's just to eat at the Olive Garden. InspectorExstead 10-10-2008, 04:53 PM i've never been to olive garden, unfortunately! i loooove pasta & i want to eat there one time but it's not really close to my house. it's about a half hour away. but next time i'm in the area i need to stop by. i keep seeing the commercials on tv & i want some, especially the never ending pasta bowl. anybody know if they mind people sharing one bowl or how that works? it'd be a great place for lunch after school or something. Janice 10-10-2008, 06:12 PM I've never been to an Olive Garden as there are none nearby. I can't order any 'all you can eat' deals because I can't eat a large portion at one sitting. Buffets, anything like that, are no good for me. TripperFan 10-11-2008, 12:43 AM I've never been to an Olive Garden as there are none nearby. I can't order any 'all you can eat' deals because I can't eat a large portion at one sitting. Buffets, anything like that, are no good for me. Same here - they always make money with me I can't even bring myself to pile high the first time around and IF I do go back, it's for something very light. With most restaurants, I wish I could order from the kiddie's meal menu. I hate wasting food. Schmoopie 10-11-2008, 05:21 AM Oh God, yes... many, many, many times. In fact, my husband and I look foreword to it every year! Actually that's the only time we'll go to Olive Garden is when they have the Neverending Pasta. I love their tomato-Alfredo sauce, but they didn't have it this year. Andrea OH Nuts! 10-11-2008, 09:13 AM The LAST place I need to be is in an all you can eat place. With pasta no less. I could suck up 5 lbs of that stuff like a Hoover vacuum cleaner. My appetite knows no bounds. When I get down to my target weight (8 lbs from now -maybe I'll go - once LuLu Rogers 10-11-2008, 04:25 PM I LOVE pasta! I went a few weeks ago and had the penne with alfredo sauce, yum! It's actually not All You Can Eat at Olive Garden, you pick one pasta and sauce combination, then you can get another bowl of it, or a different combination all for $8.95, so it's only two bowls, not All You Can Eat, but it is a lot!  -STEFFY- 10-11-2008, 05:00 PM I like Applebee's better. JulieSomoski 10-11-2008, 06:06 PM Too bad you guys don't live in Michigan - I have 3 that basically form a circle around my house-LOL. And it's strange too, because all 3 of them are always busy. I love Olive Garden - the prices really are affordable, and the pasta is to die for. I've never had the never-ending pasta bowl, though. I usually get the Chicken Scampi or whatever special they have at the time. MrCleveland 10-11-2008, 07:07 PM I never went to Olive Garden. I would have Fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken. I wish they would serve cannolis there. If I owned an Italian Restaurant, cannolis would be one of the dessert options! (Coming from someone who's 12.5% Italian.) AB 10-11-2008, 09:04 PM We have one here in our town but I've never been to it. That commerical for it does look good though. |
