View Full Version : The Browns are Doing Some Serious Trash Talking About the Giants
Brian Damage 10-09-2008, 07:09 PM Browns Defensive tackle Corey Williams provided the most inflammatory remarks, saying that if a defense can "come out and hit ( Brandon Jacobs) in the mouth from the jump, he tends to slow down and do some tip-toeing" and saying of the Giants' offensive line: "There ain't nothing physical about them."
"I'm going to try to knock his head off," Williams said of Jacobs. "Once you go to putting that wood on him, go to really hitting him, not letting him run wild like he wants to do, he's a totally different running back. He'll start tip-toeing, shutting it down."

Wreckless 10-09-2008, 09:43 PM I doubt but I hope the Browns stick it to the Giants lol. The midgets are a good team but they faced cake teams so far, 4 easy wins. Gimme a break, when they face Dallas, Philly and Washington in their place and they win, I'll take them more seriously.

Hey, you gotta play who's on the schedule and beat them. The Giants have done that. The Browns shouldn't be calling the Blue Crew out like that.
Wreckless 10-09-2008, 10:03 PM Yeah but it's still an easy schedule, they barely beat Cincy at home anyway. While you still should win against the bad teams and you could lose against them, if you haven't played a great team 6 weeks in, you're just thinking you're greater then you really are. We'll see though.

I think you've been sipping the haterade.
Wreckless 10-09-2008, 10:09 PM Not really lol. It's just them having an easy schedule. Seriously, name one team they had to sweat it out to beat, besides the Cincy game, against a bad team.

Hey, it's like I said, you have to beat who they put in front of you. The Giants have done that, the Eagles, have not. It's pretty simple actually.
Wreckless 10-09-2008, 10:13 PM Yeah, the Eagles have also played the Bears, Dallas, aka REAL TEAMS lol
the eagles, shoot, any team would have a shot at 4-0 with the schedule the giants have had
yeah you could lose to any team, but they are great teams and bad teams also
Mr. Television 10-09-2008, 11:26 PM The Giants are the SB Champions. The End.
Big C 10-09-2008, 11:31 PM The Giants need to pick on someone their own size.
They beat up three terrible teams and everyone is already fawning over them.
I'm not impressed yet- let's see what happens when they have to go to Pittsburgh against a REAL team!
Wreckless 10-09-2008, 11:49 PM The Giants are the SB Champions. The End.
Yeah, that's last year though lol that has nothing to do with this season. It's not like every team that won the SB is guaranteed a playoff spot the following season no matter how good or bad they do lol. Reality is, they've had an easy bake oven schedule so far. I'm waiting until they get a good, hard team to test them, then we'll see. They are a good team though.

I totally agree. They are a really good team, the Giants, but they haven't faced nothing yet lol. It's easy to think you're superior when you've faced St. Louis, Cincinnati, Seattle (no offense to Seattle fans) and Washington at home.
TVFactFan 10-10-2008, 12:58 AM The Giants beat the Redskins, guess everyone forgot that and they are defending champs so that's it

Any player on a 0-5 team talking trash is on serious medication-lol
Wreckless 10-10-2008, 02:42 AM Remember last year, the guy on the Steelers talking trash on New England   funny how that turned out, sorry Bandito, guy was just an idiot. It doesn't fire up the team you are on, it fires up the team being talked down on lol. I see the Giants whooping their ass this weekend lol, whether I like it or not..

That guy is Anthony Smith, a BIG hitter, but that's about it. I was so pissed off when he did that last yr.
bandito 10-10-2008, 07:03 AM The Browns need to STFU and start concentrating on getting a win, like sol said 0-5 I think the whole team is on medication.
catlover79 10-10-2008, 12:17 PM These guys never know when to shut up - and always end up eating crow.

Actually, Solomon, the Browns have one win, specifically against the Bengals (in Cincinnati, at that!).

It's 1-3 - the Browns had a bye this past week.
Wreckless 10-10-2008, 05:10 PM
yeah Bandito, that must of been frustrating lol it's one thing to talk trash in a playful, fun, exciting and motivating way, but that was no place for it lol...steelers had a good team though, pats were just an elite, cheating...i mean elite team
catlover79 10-10-2008, 06:58 PM ^ Good ol' Bill Belichick - he was unpopular when he was coach of the Browns and is probably MORE unpopular here in Ohio now. I remember the year that Bernie Kosar was cut (1993) right around holiday time. My Girl Scout leader's son and I started singing "Bill Belichick got run over by a reindeer, walking home from the Browns' game Christmas Eve..." Awful, but I still chuckle remembering those days.
TVFactFan 10-10-2008, 08:47 PM Oh I must have forgotten, it's hard to distinguish the the two teams, the browns and bengals look so much alike-lol
Wreckless 10-11-2008, 06:39 AM bengals almost BEAT the midgets though lol, they barely beat them at home. My prediction though: Midgets 26-Cleveland 3, 26-10 at best if Cleveland gets a TD in lol..
catlover79 10-11-2008, 02:23 PM Cleveland has had a quarterback controversy every single year since they came back in '99. Maybe they should just bring Bernie out of retirement.  Hey, he couldn't do much worse!!!!
